San Andreas is your run of the miss disaster movie, nothing more, nothing less. The brightest point of the movie, outside of the special effects are the actors themselves. While not my favorite action movie, it certainly deserves at least one viewing.

4k bluray..video is excellent!! audio will shake whatever you have on the walls to the floor, if you're going full theater audio. the movie however. hasic big budget blockbuster with the acting talent of, "the Rock??"

Special effects were bad and I cannot picture the Rock as a helicopter pilot. His movie acting in this movie was not as good as his wrestling acting. I would pass on this movie. Stick with Fast and Furious.

This was never going to be the next cult survival classic, but I figured it would be an diverting romp for 90+ minutes, and it was - at times. Unfortunately - even with the willing and necessary suspension of disbelief - it became rather predictable and boring less than 1/2 way through. Self-hovering helicopters? Boats that slice through heavy debris? A home run of auto, helicopter, airplane, AND boat theft in the name of survival? It has all of these. If you want to waste a few hours with this, have a sarcastic friend watch it with you. He'll probably be more fun than the movie.
