San Andreas is ridiculous from start to end, but it's also ridiculously entertaining, helped by extraordinary special effects, a strong performance by Dwayne Johnson and reference-quality video and audio. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is one of the best you'll hear if you have the setup.

The Rock growing up was one of my hated then loved personas. He was made for Hollywood. He had some of the best promos. As he gotten into movies he crafted his skill better and better. I love how he tackles a wide range of movies instead all action (faster, snitch). Great action scenes and the 3D was well done.

Great movie overall. Lots of action and suspense. If you like disaster movies, you'll enjoy this one. It will be even better if you like The Rock. Lots of action movies arent that suitable for younger kids but this one was acutally pretty safe. A bit of language here and there but nothing you wouldnt hear on TV.

Definitely surprised me with how the simple plot and action thrills kept me engaged. Well structured plot and situations keeps you cheering on the characters as they maneuver through worsening situations. Blu-ray picture in 2D and 3D are excellent and the sound is definitely enveloping.

This movie was absolutely wonderful action pack not a dull moment kept you on your seat I saw it on my regular TV but the 4K is so much more detail it is wonderful I suggest everybody watch it then buy it I cannot be without this movie it is absolutely that good I can watch it over and over again

This movie brings a new side to Dwayne Johnson's acting ability. As a family man with it's pains he makes that extra effort we all believe we would put forth. Te destruction of San Andreas by mother nature keeps him and those he loves apart and struggling to unite.

While nothing more than a good-natured disaster flick, it hit all the right notes, and was a fine two-hour distraction. The 3-D transfer was passable, and did make it more enjoyable. Those bent on fine cinema will need to look elsewhere, but to me this was an unpretentious good time.

As disaster movies go, this is one of the better ones. Yes, it's improbable, but it's well made with great special effects. It's fun to watch - you can't help but like The Rock, and he's good in this one.

Disaster movie fans will love this Earthquake flick. The effects are fantastic, and the movie will keep you entertained until the end. The Rock saves! I'm not quite sure how they're doing a sequel...but I'll be watching that one too when it comes out.

We wanted to see this movie in HD format and it worked great as a digital downloaded movie on our Vudu account. We have it in the cloud now so we can watch it anytime and anywhere as long as we have access to the Internet. We don't have to worry about the original which is stored in our physical library.

I am a huge fan of Dwayne Johnson, and I know he's probably not the greatest actor on the planet, but I still thought the movie was good. Once it gets going, the action is intense. Not sure if something like this would ever happen, but if it did, I'd want The Rock on my side, lol.

Everyone is always talking about the San Andreas fault and what would happen if the "Big One" ever hit ...which could happen at any time. Being a 3-D movie, it really brought it to life and made it realistic. Good plot, and when it's over, and you happen to live in California, it keeps you thinking!!!!

A friend of a friend was giving bad reviews saying that there was no real story to this and it had nothing but action. They were wrong. It does indeed have a story in that Dwayne Johnson is trying to mend his relationship with his ex-wife and daughter. I liked it a lot.

Worth the price, but not totally believable. All the "right" people live and die and there are a few helicopter stunts that just wouldn't be done. But, given a little artistic license and some popcorn, it's got both action and relationship stories to make it worthwhile.

I was waiting anxiously for thirds movie to come out! I hadn't seen it at the theater so when it came out, I went straight to Best Buy for the purchase! They always have a great selection for movie purchases! I went home n enjoyed this movie w my family! I love natural disaster movies n this was great!

I enjoyed watching San Andreas. There was a lot of action. It stars "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson, so that alone is a great reason to watch this movie. Howver, I do have to admit some parts were kind of cheesy but overall a good watch when you're in the mood for an action movie.

I initially wanted this movie because Dwayne Johnson is in it. I've been watching his career as it progresses and was curious. Well, I was pleasantly surprised !There was a pretty well rounded story to go with the action. It really did turn out to be better than I expected !

Lots of CGI in this film (obviously) but it was done in such a way that the majority of it felt "real". I watched it first in the 3D version which was far more impressive than the 2D bluray version. Over all if you like movies in the "fantastical" you will enjoy this one.

Great movie, awesome sound. Even if you’re not a fan of Dwayne Johnson, this film is very action packed and has the sound to match. Previously owned the Blu-ray Version, much happier with the 4K
