This movie is over-the-top to keep the audience engaged. When you watch Rock movies, you are not looking for realism or great acting, but action, suspense, and eye-candy. The Dolby Atmos surround sound is excellent. Watch this for The Rock and Alexandra Daddario!

I thought when I got this it would just be ok it was actually better good acting all around but The Rock gives one of his most believable performances. 5 stars for the most realistic disaster special effects this one finally nails it.

Love this action catastrophic movie! Love Ioan Gruffold; although not as a bad character. Got first in Blueray, played on my 4K player, looked good; finally 4K! What a knockout! Clarity, color. Who can, NOT, love Dwayne Johnson!! Great action movie.

I have to admit I am a big fan of Dwayne Johnson. With him and fantastic special effects, this movie rocks! If you are in the mood for something cerebral, you may want to pass on this movie. But when you decide you are ready for a lot of action, grab this one.

Like 90% of all of the Rocks movies, this one doesn't disappoint when it comes to action and destruction. If you can forget the fact that there is actually a San Andreas Fault out there that is ready to pop, this movie is very entertaining and fun to watch. lol

I always found that what kills a lot of disaster movies is when they push the envelope too far on what's believable. This movie does not have that problem. While I wouldn't say it is scientifically accurate, it is believable enough that makes what is happening all the more thrilling.

I bought this for the special effects and was not disappointed. The screenplay could have been written in the screenwriter's sleep, however. It's a good thing too many movies have used this basic plot or someone could be sued for plagiarism. But still fun.

The Rock and Carla Gugino save the world (or at least San Francisco) from a crazy natural disaster. If you are looking for a film similar to Twister or the old disaster filicks like The Towering Inferno, then look no further. Also Alexandra Daddario is in it and she is fantastic.

There was continuous action from the very beginning, all the way throughout. I was not disappointed Good story line and enough action to keep you glued to your seat. One of those movies you'll watch again just to see what details you missed the first time.

This movie is what it is a disaster movie but it’s fun. It’s a good looking 4K and a great sounds 4K but if you like bass this is the dics for you must buy for atoms lover

I liked this movie so much that i am terrified if it were to really happen in real life. Earthquakes have been happening in different parts of the country and i've never experienced anything so tragic . My heart goes out to the people who have gone through this kind of tragedy.

Acting was excellent especially the ROCK. Storyline was incredibly realistic and the sound was High Definition to the max. In conclusion: Best disaster movie so far. Special Effects were wicked. Bottom line I gave San Andreas four and a half stars(4 1/2 )

Had absolutely no expectations from this flick, so I was pleasantly surprised. Altho it had the same soap opera story background, the CGI effects were so well done, you didn't much mind the storyline. Picture and sound quality awesome. Worth the watch...

My husband and I are real movie buffs. We both love a good action film. This one was a nail bitter, with lots of excellent special effects. It also makes you think about what is going on with the world in real life. Really great movie. Of course, we are Dwayne Johnson fans.

This is a great action movie. Watched ti with my nephew. If you are a fan of the rock or of action movies this is a great film. Liked it better than some other disaster movie epics and bought it after watching it in theater. Love the BR/DVD combo. worth the price

Very exciting edge-of-your-seat movie. Plus you get to stare a "the Rock" for two hours... so that's a plus. Great special effects and intriguing storyline. I would highly recommend this for fans of epic disaster movies like "The Day After Tomorrow", "2012", & "Deep Impact".

If you have not seen this movie yet, GO GET IT NOW BECAUSE YOU WILL LOVE IT SO MUCH! It has non stop action right from the first 2 minutes! It had an amazing story to go along with the non stop action! You will love this movie guaranteed! The best movie I've seen in years!

Dwayne Johnson has developed into a very good on screen actor. The "Run Down" star brings a sense of urgency to this performance that allows you to feel his need to save his family in the end. It is well worth the purchase and I look forward to his next movie. 41/2 star !!!

I have already seen this movie in the theatres, but bought my own copy for family to see it too because I found it entertaining. There are some questionable areas to the plot, but for the visual effects, I thought this movie was worth the purchase.

Plenty of action in this movie. A bit unrealistic as The Rock is unstoppable and seams to escape death over and over, but that's what we expect while watching a movie such as this. Over-All it was very entertaining and the 3-D effects are excellent.
