The movie is pretty good. Its mostly for disaster action movie lovers, but still worth seeing at least once. Cast is good and the visual and special effects are decent. Would recommend to anybody who appreciates that type of movies.

this movie rocks! (no pun intended). great special effects and action. you can really witness the horror of what a massive earthquake can be like. great acting and story. the rock has never let me down and his castmates are great as well. highly recommend

What is not to love about a well made disaster movie with one of your favorite actors? This has a lot of great special effects, and it's completely corny like some other movies of it's genre. It's a good addition to your collection of disaster movies.

Please tell your kids that this type of earthquake could never happen in California. Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, and Carla Gugino make the film very fun and the extras showing how they did the CG is awesome.

Action packed movie with the Rock! Looks stunning in 4k. HDR really shines in this title. Most have to show off your TV. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the story is predictable. Not saying it's bad, just not original.

Many action films are just violence and explosions and battle scenes, but this film also has character development and a good story line with fine acting. With a PG-13, it is fine for the family. San Andreas is exciting, entertaining, and fun to watch.

This is another of the catastrophic destruction of California movies that is very well done with special graphics and an added human touch. Saving more people than possible, the Rock rocks through the show.

I've starting looking beyond the special affects and finally it looks like acting is playing a role in this movie. Yes, the special affects are very good but the people, the actors & actresses, have shown they too can be special.

I am one who is not really able to stay awake during movies. They have to be paused here and there to allow me to move around. This one was a show stopper and had twists and turns that allowed me to sit through it and there was no pausing necessary!!

Love having the option of buying a digital, bluray, and dvd combo pack for the ease of viewing options. Great action and graphics for this movie. Also is a great movie about going to the ends of the earth to save/rescue the ones you love.

Entertaining movie, fun special effects.! The Rock is a good leadcin these types of movies and is one of the only action type leads around...as opposed to the many from the 80's. Although there are some good ones now as well.!

This is a must have movie,perfect cast .I buy movies that I watch many times .I have been working on finding movies I have to own on Blu Ray.I only buy movies through Best Buy,either in store or on-line.Lots of good deals.

This movie has action, suspense, and comedy. It will keep you entertained. It is what I would say is a sleeper. Pleasantly surprised how good this movie was and yet not much advertisement. My family enjoyed this movie and will recommend to others.

The movie is full of Special effects and a poor argument. But for any reason the action, the impossible stuff and the"Rock" works well (my family really enjoyed). Not for an Oscar but good for watch something with the family.

I'm only here for the spectacle of the distruction (yeah kinda morbid, why else watch these kinds of movies? i.e.: Twister, Volcano, Day After Tomorrow, etc.), and in that regard this one is good, as for the rest, nope.

Great Movie. It is a fun thrill ride from the beginning to the end. Some people tend to think too deeply and question some of the stuff that goes on, but it'll just ruin the fun for you. Its even better in 3D if you have it!

The movie was actually better than I thought it would be. The special effects are good. The story line is very predictable though. The Rock is a decent actor here but not the big bad "knock everyone around" person this time.

I'm a fan of disaster movies. If that's not your thing, this movie isn't going to be anything special, but I enjoyed it for it's entertainment value. On top of the action, there's a nice story of family redemption.

Going in, I figured this was just another disaster film, which it was. Still, there were some things that I didn't expect and it made the film enjoyable for it. With Dwayne "Rock" Johnson leading the way, you pretty much know what to expect. Instead of beat downs we're used to seeing, Johnson plays an emergency helicopter pilot, who's desperate to save his family after the San Andreas fault rocks the west coast. It has a similar feel to previous disaster films we've seen, like 2012, Independence Day, etc. Still, I found it entertaining and enjoyed the take they did with his daughter, who wasn't the usual damsel in distress.

This movie is just about as good as most of the disaster movies out there. Some of it is predictable and a little far out there, but if you enjoy some action and like watching the Rock on screen, you'll probably like this.
