I had read the reviews and instead of renting this movie, I decided to purchase it. The special effects were spectacular and the family really enjoyed the movie. Will definitely watch it again!

A fun disaster movie. The rock is great, as always. The picture quality is good, and the sound is amazing.

Nice lightly entertaining movie. Did not go into it expecting it to be an Oscar winner! Nice effects and acting was not bad. Extra * given due to getting bluray on sale at a bargain price!

Simple plot, but special effects are very good. Johnson is a better actor than I thought, I think he would do well in a drama, as good/bad guy, preferably bad who actually turns out to be good

This Blu-ray movie is reference quality and will really show off your hdtv. Spectacular special effects and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack that will put you smack dab in the middle of all the action.

The special effects are great. You sit at the edge of your seat. The acting, well it's a Rock movie, what else can I say. The plot? It's a Rock movie. But it's a good watch.

Honestly, I just purchased this title and have not been able to watch it, which is why I gave it 4/5 stars. I was told it's a must see. Will update after viewing.

good movie, didn't get to see it in the theater. sound and picture are of the highest quality. If you haven't seen it yet, it is a must, Dwayne Johnson rocks in this action filled adventure !!

Best Rock movie yet. the Rock plays a really great Dad in the movie. Lots of great supporting actors. The girl from the Percy Jackson movies is the Rocks daughter in this epic disaster flick.

This movies puts a perspective of the San Andreas possibility. Some parts are unreal, but it definitely gets your brain waves going. It's a good movie for all ages.

I bought this mostly because it was in 3D but turned out to be a really good movie to boot, tons of action and good acting too. The 3D effects were good but not excellent.

Great disaster movie. Movie was jammed packed with special effects. Definitely kept you on the edge of your seat. The movie contained just about every disaster and survival scenario into one.

As expected, this was a formulaic disaster movie with all the predictable plot points associated with this genre of film. However, it was really well done and very entertaining. Popcorn fun!

Not a movie that gets the brain working, but still very fun with great special effects. Was my test run for my new 4K tv and 4K bluray player. It did the job well.

The movie itself is ok but the 3d added a lot to it. I saw it in Dbox with moving chairs and it was like a roller coaster. Unfortunately I haven't watched the blu ray yet.

This is one of the best action/drama movies ever! It will keep you on the edge of your seat and if you are human, it will make you cry. Great cast, great plot, great movie!

Since I have a 70inch Sony smart, 3D, WiFi, Bluetooth TV, I don't go to the theaters anymore, I enjoy action movie and this is a great movie, it will move you to your seat, I watch it in 3D,

I love this movie. The action, the images, cinematography, it's one of my favorite action movies. Even better in the 4k UHD version. Will never go back to Blu-ray

Thought the movie would be a bit boring because it is about an earthquake. I slept through most earthquakes but for some reason the graphics in the movie were realistic and kept my interest.

I would recommend this to a friend, very well priced and good movie, I am collecting all the rock pictures when they come out, they are going to be a great collection.
