Well worry no more because this little guy is here to save the day, and your pictures, so you can clear up space on your phone. It's good.

The SanDisk - 128GB iXpand Flash Drive Luxe for iPhone Lightning and Type-C Devices is very handy when you want to transfer files between an iPhone and computer. I really like the design and build-quality. Very handy. For me, the App was not that useful. - I have a 256 GB iPhone 12 and, although photos only take up about 13GB on my phone, when I used the automatic backup feature I ran out of memory on the SanDisk. - I could not have it automatically back up only videos - or only photos. - When manually choosing photos to save to the SanDisk, it could not handle more than 40 pictures at a time - and less if they included large videos (which I have) - When doing the initial automatic back-up I continually got notices telling me I should keep the app open on the phone for best results. Thus I couldn't use the phone during that time. - Each time I would plug the SanDisk into the phone to copy some photos I had an extended wait for it to bring the photos up on the screen. However, once I approached it as a good solution for manual file transfers - apart from the SanDisk app - I found it to be a very useful and elegant solution - especially for larger files.

I really like this high quality 128gb flash drive from SanDisk. The body is not some cheap plastic but sturdy metal. There is a small plastic cap that fits over the lightening port which could prove to be easy to lose but I plan on being careful. Worked very simple with my iPhone Pro Max...all I had to do was plug it into the lightening charging port which then immediately took me over to the app store to download the SanDisk iXpand Drive app. Accepted the terms with no need to register or give out any personal information and once done I started to copy and transfer files to my Macbook. I found it had decent read and write speeds, although not as fast as I expected. Probably because I have over 4,000 photos on my phone, which is no fault of Sandisk and still it was much faster than my old flash drives by a long shot. One other nice thing is a security feature that if you enable it with a password your files can be stored in a secure folder. For convenience you can also carry it on a key ring or chain as there is an opening on one end. I do really like this drive from SanDisk. I find it very versatile, easy to use and quite simple to transfer files from my iPhone Pro Max to my Macbook using the USB Type C port. I would definitely recommend it, even though a bit pricey.

This is basically a USB thumb drive that has a USB type C and lightning as well for your iPhone. It makes transferring stuff like photos and files from your iPhone to a computer a breeZe. It also is metal so it feels premium but to be brutally honestly it’s not a big deal for me.

Connection with the SanDisk flash drive connects to the IPhone and the laptop with no issues. My issue with the flash drive is it doesn't download the files as simply as it states it will. The flash drive downloaded the pictures from the IPhone automatically with the app. The music and other files wouldn't download automatically. I was able to transfer the files via my laptop, but I was under the impression the flash drive by itself would download. The flash drive is built well, but doesn't do everything on its own as described.

This flash drive is very versatile, as it allows the user to save files from both android and apple devices. It has a lightning connection on one end and a USB C connection on the other end. The only issue I had with this device was the length of the connector that plugs into your mobile device. In order for me to use it with my android device I had to remove it from my phone case. This is inconvenient, however, it does not affect the device function. All in all, it does what it is supposed to do! It makes saving files on multiple types of devices a breeze!

Needs an app. Stopped recognizing drive after first download. Isn’t recognized at all by newer UBC phones.

It stopped working as soon as I downloaded the app. Absolutely garbage! And now there is no way to return it.

Does not work on Ipad Pro 11 inch 3rd Gen. Very Frustrating. I posted a question through bestbuy as well about 2 weeks ago but has not been posted.
