I would notice the switch turning black whenever I would put the memory card on. I solved the problem by resetting the device and reinserting it.

The games don't use that much memory of the switch, at least not the games I have. I would wait to see if the games are using up your memory in your switch first.

Save yourself the money and buy a normal card, I only purchased this because of Black Friday special and it was the same price as the others.
