She indicated that this is necessary in order to play a bunch of games on the switch . The card even comes with the cute picture of a toad mushroom on the front Of it.

Expand Switch storage

I think any UHS-I card will work, but I got the one with the Nintendo branding on it, and paid an extra $2 for the peace of mind.

Deal was too good to pass up bundled with a 1 year subscription to Nintendo online service.
