Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As other reviewers have said, this drive is frequently not recognized by iPhones at all, not with the outdated software that comes with it, not with the updated software downloaded from SanDisk. Apple simply does not play nice with non-Apple products, and third party companies, especially giants like SanDisk, should make sure that their products are fully licensed, tested, and functional with Apple products when they put it on the packaging and market it for use with Apple products. I have purchase numerous SanDisk drives here and elsewhere, but this drive was a complete waste of money. I would have returned it but due to my complete faith in SanDisk products, I completely destroyed the packaging before testing.
