It’s very complicated to do it’s not like the lightning. The lightning is so easy to put into your phone or the old iPad and it downloads the pictures very fast and easy.

I thought upgrading would take care of the problem but it didnt. I had the same problem. I have about 10,000 photos on my phone. Maybe thats why it didnt want to work. But sadly me upgrading didnt fix my problem and i had to get a bigger icloud storage from apple

The software was very slow and the transfer was almost nonexistent due to it erroring out all the time. UPC connection works great.

The app crashes when I upload more than 300 pictures at time. It’s extremely slow to load pictures. It’s excruciatingly painful waiting it to transfer, wait for it to fail, and have to repeat the process. As much as I dont want to use iCloud, it might be the more reliable way to save your info.

The first is the excessive and irrational, security measures on an iPhone. This solves the up load problem nicely.

THE WORST FEATURE IS THE LARGE AMOUNT OF DATA THE DRIVE WRITES ON TO YOUR DEVICE. Most people buy these to free up space on their iPhones—not to have 50 gigs of metadata added

I didn't use it for a long time after that. Two days ago, when I plugged it into my phone to free the memory of the phone, I saw that its capacity was around 34GB. I don't understand how it happened. I don't know if it can be fixed or what should I do. It was 256GB when I bought it. Tomorrow I will go to best buy and consult.

I already had the software installed, so that’s not the issue. Obviously the type C side on the flash drive is not compatible with the iPad.
