this is my second iXpand Flash drive. My first one was a 64 GB and I quickly filled that up now with this 256 GB it will last me longer... I always but SanDisk iXpand because it is easy to use!

I am glad I found some USB with 2 different ports. My wife,s phone is C and my phone is lightning so this is the perfect and useful and fast USB for my needs

It’s great I was able to back up at 36,000 of my photos and videos on this drive it took 8 hours make sure your phone is charged or you can charge it without the charging port. My concern is that if I delete the photos off my phone and back up the drive will it delete the photos I already saved? Borrowed my friends Macbook and was unable to transfer from drive to another external hard drive for extra back up due to my other drive plug requiring an adapter part that was too big. I’m a cautious person I ended up buying extra storage until I can down load everything else off the phone

I’d give 5 solid stars based on the build quality of the hardware. This thumb drive has some weight to it and doesn’t feel cheap in the least. Unfortunately, the associated (required, as far as I can tell) app is rather clunky and could really use some improvement. My main complaint is in the encryption and decryption of the files and the fact that you cannot (seemingly) go directly from your iOS device to the encrypted folder with files and vice versa. You have to first copy them to the non-protected part of the drive and then select them (or the folder they’re in) and choose to protect them. Moving a protected file onto your device is the same thing… you can’t move it directly, you have to first decrypt it into a folder on the drive itself, then you can copy the file to your device. It’s an extra step that adds extra time and makes it nearly impossible to keep your files in their original sub folder structure within the encrypted portion of the drive. Still, it does give you a way to back files up from your iOS device directly without having to use any hardware adapters and it does have a very quality feel to it.

Easy and simple to use.You just need to download an app and it’s simple after. Does take a while if u have large files.
