    Overall, an excellent value external ssd! Plug and play and fast speeds! Used it as large capacity "thumb drive". Literally stuck it to the lid of my laptop with a command strip and wired all day. Capacity is more than enough for my needs and I love the fact it doesn't need external power like my current HDD back up drives!

    Bought this as a backup for my photos and music. Transfer from my computer was fast compared to traditional hard drives. The small size makes it very easy to carry.

    The SSD itself is great: fast, reliable, and surprisingly compact—roughly credit-card sized, though thicker. Unfortunately, it’s 2026 and SanDisk is still including a USB-C to USB-A cable instead of USB-C to USB-C. Feels outdated and knocks this down from five stars.

    So far so good with this little guy. I upgraded from the same size HDD and am impressed by the footprint of this. Speeds have been good too when transferring directly from my computer and not simply backing up the old HDD. I’d recommend

    Nice portable drive that I use for backups. I do wish it had the USB-C to USB-C cable with the C/A adapter like the one I purchased years ago for work. This one comes with USB-A to USB-C cable. And a word of advice if you purchase your own USB-c to USB-C cable. Make sure it's rated for high speed data transfer; some cables are more intended to be used as charging cables. I shopped around on-line and Best Buy had the best price.
