I've purchased more than a few of these over the years and I love that they're rugged and dependable. I've had a couple of cases where for some reason they stopped working, but this only after an extensive amount of use. So I wouldn't say they failed as much as I would think that I just "wore them out!" LOL... With the right earphones, the sound is above average. For the price....well the the number of times the number of times I went to Best Buy specifically seeking SanDisk speaks for itself.

I put a new radio in my classic Jeep and wanted the ability to listen to my own music without using bluetooth to my cellphone. I have always had great luck with SanDisk products so I went with the Clip Jam 8GB* MP3 Player. This was perfect for my application and more than handled all of my music.

It's tiny with loads of room for music (~8 GB). Just going from memory, I believe it will do over 30 hours of playing without recharge too. Fairly simple to use once you read the short little instruction pamphlet. Not quite intuitive though. My wife and I love it.

Overall it is nice, I like the clip on it so I can clip it to my clothing while listening to my music and do things around my home. I just wish the volume would go up just a little bit more than it does.

The SanDisk - Clip Jam 8GB* MP3 Player is FAR superior to any of Apple's mp3 players. Much easier to use, much better price! Very happy!!

I am very impressed by the size and playing ability of my new Sandisk Clip jam its really nice to carry lots of music with me that i can hear and not have to deal with itunes which i can't stand haha. I recommend the sandisk clip jam its awesome.

A simple, easy to use MP3 player for a low price. It's a great player that is pretty bare bones with no flashy screen but gets the job done. This model also has a radio tuner on it, I assume the headphones act as the antenna, but I haven't used it yet. Has varying EQs you can apply to your music or you can set the EQ yourself. Very easy to use with multiple ways to navigate: you can navigate by file folder, by internal or external storage, by artist, by album title. Also has folders for Audiobooks, Podcasts and other types of MP3 files. Has a microSD slot that's compatible up to 32 GB, giving you a total of 40 GB on this tiny player. Only bad thing is it's tricky trying to get the microSD card to go all the way in the slot and stay there. You have to push it in really deep to get it to go past the ejection screen so you will either need a long thumbnail or something flat that you can use to push it in. However, I understand why it's like that, it's to prevent you from accidently hitting the card when you grasp the player, causing it to be ejected which was a common problem on an older model Sansa Clip that I had. I bought this new one because the battery on my old player is starting to get worse and dies down too quickly. But if this player is just as rugged as the old model then I should get plenty of use out of it until the rechargeable battery start to die down. Also comes with headphones and a USB cable you can use to plug the player into your computer for charging or quick file copying. If you want something that's dependable and doesn't cost a lot and you don't need anything flashy, then you can't go wrong with this MP3 player.

This is graet little MP 3 player. It was easy to load all my music and I now am prepared to endure long ailine flights. The thing is very small and weighs almost nothing so packing it is not an issue. Has sufficient volume to overcome those screaming children with no difficulty.

I walk the dog alot and needed something to provide me the music I want to listen to while we are out and about. This filled the bill. Works great. 8gb holds quite a bit of music but it allows you to add more memory (32gb) with an external micro sd card. I'm old school and this works for me.

I really like this one. It is easy to download music on and has clear sound.

perfect size to carry and use in my vehicle, it also uses external micro sd cards so I can quickly change up my playlists by swapping out the card

My new MP3 player is working just fine. My old one stopped working so I need to replace it. I am very happy with my new MP3 player.

This is my first MP3. I usually listen to music on my phone. What a good decision to purchase this! It's not only much easier than my phone to carry, but I can attach it to my car radio & just have the music I want. I'm not technological and I was pleased @ how easy this was to program. The sound is great!

So far this MP3 works great. My wife uses it at work every day to listen to music and built in radio. The battery will even go two full 8 hour days before needing a recharge.

Needed something light and easy to use for workouts. Had an old iPod and that stopped working . Don’t like to use my phone when I run. Bought this and love the ease and how lightweight it is

both of my kids have these MP3 players. You can download music but you also have the radio. Easy to use and inexpensive, so if it does break, you aren't out of ton of money. We've own one for 2 years and now the other kid is really into music.

Love this as it is small amd easy to carrying around. This has 8gb of storage far more than I will ever need . Easy to use.

Bought this for my young son to see how he would handle his first electronic device. So far so good. The sound is decent with earbuds and also connected to an external speaker. He uses the FM radio the most.

For $30 you can't beat this little MP3. The best part is how easy it is to load songs onto it, others have required I download software, etc. I also like the clip aspect, makes it easy to hang from almost anywhere
