The FM radio is the reason I bought this. It is super compact and great to run with.

I must say, I love this MP3 player! It is a huge upgrade over another I had, which had a much smaller data capacity, and no access to the radio as this one has, and definitely a shorter battery life. It also stays clipped on nice and tight! I always use this at work, and it lasts throughout my 8+ hour shifts, and I've never had any problems with it (until recently, more on that later). The previous one I had wouldn't even last the whole shift, so I had to be careful when I used it, and it seemed to use up battery power when skipping songs! The Clip Jam here sure doesn't do that though, so that's a plus! This has an auto power down mode if you have your music paused for too long, which is also nice, as it saves battery power. Not that I was ever close to reaching the 18 hour limit. You can turn off this feature in the settings if it is not to your liking. I DID have one problem with the player recently. One day when going out, I kept the MP3 player in my jean pocket. I didn't use it that day, but when I got home, I saw the screen was frozen on the "Music" icon. I could power the player down, but it wouldn't fix the problem. The only thing I could seem to do was listen to the radio, which was still good! After looking up some information online, I found a link in the player's manual that sends you to a page where you can download a firmware update for the player. This fixed my problem, and it was a simple drag and drop installation and disconnecting the player afterwards to allow it to update. I definitely recommend this and the price is great to boot!

I have had this little mp3/FM player for a long time. It's been more than a year but I don't remember exactly. I had one before this but I lost it somewhere. However, I liked so well that I bought another one. I use it mainly to download podcasts, but do have many songs on it as well. It is many hours between charges and FM reception is as good as my pocket AM/FM personal radio. The clip for attaching it to your clothing is strong and durable. I hope I don't loose this one but if I do, I'll look for another one of these.

The Clip Jam is a very nice little MP3 player. It has a bright black and white screen that's very readable. In addition to its 8 GB of onboard storage, it can use MicroSd cards and can handle up to 2000 music cuts. For me, its biggest feature is the ability to play Audible audio books. It can sync with the Audible Manager program and does "bookmark" your place when you pause or leave a book. Overall, the Clip Jam is a good option for anyone who wants a compact music/audio book player.

Love that it has music storage plus a radio. I have used a Sansa clip through 3 marathons and recently bought one for my 10-year old son. I am not a fan of screens for youth so the clip is perfect for him. He can download his own music and select songs by album, soundtrack, or recently added. It is extremely user friendly and very durable.

bought this for my 3rd grader when they wanted to have their own portable music but i was not willing to spend iPod/iPhone money on them. kind of a pain to manage the music storage from a MacBook, but for this price point what do you expect? easy to use, decent sound quality, and ultimately it is possible to manage the playlists--just fussy.

My kid was off at summer camp when I received the SOS that she had forgotten to bring music. I needed something that could be shipped to Indiana from CA. This was perfect. Good sound and good price and great size! It was hit for playing the hits.

This MP3 player works well while doing yard work. Also I use this while I'm at work it is easy to be hidden from anyone noticing you have music playing. The price is reasonable, I was wanting me another IPOD but when I looked them up they was a little pricey for me. This MP3 player works just as effective as the IPOD. Holds a great amount of music, the radio comes in clear. this is well worth the small amount of monies it cost. Easy to put music on as well.

Really compact and great for the gym. Holds a lot of songs and is easy to use. nice to have the ability to listen to radio stations as well.

A lot of people are using their phones to play music now. I use my phone for multiple things, including directions for driving and making multiple calls. It's more convenient to put a few thousand songs and some audiobooks on my MP3 player to keep my phone free for ease of use. I use it when I'm driving and shopping. The rechargeable battery lasts for hours and the sound quality is great.

Bought this to replace my old I-pod. It’s not as intuitive as the old Apple product but it holds lots of songs and you maintain ownership and control of your library and don’t need to connected to the cloud. It’s very compact. Great for exercising.

I'm fairly happy with this item. My only complaints are is the volume goes only so high (not high enough) and it isn't easy to set it to play all of an artist's songs while you're listening on shuffle. Bonus points for the capacity of music it will hold.

This unit is nice and compact. Storage space is good. Ease of use is excellent. The only thing that could be better is the sound quality. Of course, considering the cost of this unit, you can't argue too much about that. I would definitely recommend this unit. If sound quality is a priority, you might look at another unit.

The ScanDisk is easy to use and has great sound quality. I love that I can easily add or delete any music I want. I live in a home with musicians who own the air space. This device lets me listen to the music I like when I'm doing chores or just relaxing.
