With audio streaming becoming more prevalent, fewer people are using MP3 players for daily use, but my wife isn't very tech savvy so this was a good option for her. It's easy to set up and we were able plug it into our car's auxiliary input to listen to our music library on our long road trip to Florida. Very convenient.

It takes a 32 gb card that I store everything on. You can download audible.com audiobook and play them on it. I convert them to mp3 using the openaudible software. battery life is decent. black and white screen saves power. I usually have to charge it once a week.

I became a Zumba instructor about 4 months ago, and wanted a basic stand-alone device to take music along to the classes I attend. I'm not the most sophisticated user, but this connects to my computer, downloads music, connects to an external speaker, and plays music. Does the basics plenty well for my needs.

For my car audio, the Clip Jams work much better than the Clip Sport, so I bought another for my other car.

Purchased this for bad weather this spring! I listen to Ky3 for severe weather information. IF power goes out or I have go to my storm shelter, I would be UNABLE to see or hear the television for warnings! At least with the SanDisk Clip Jam I will be able to listen to KTTS radio! The "not knowing" what is happening would or could be dangerous.

Bit harder to load with music but since iTunes Shuffle is no longer supported it is a good substitute. Holds way more than the Shuffle Easy to operate A bit involved to load playlists vs. Shuffle

Inexpensive player, great option for kids. Plays well and has an SD card slot. There's a clip, but, I would like it to have a place to attach a lanyard/cord. It's tiny and the kids keep misplacing it. So, if they were wearing it (around their neck) or it was tied to a backpack, there would be fewer emergencies to find it.
