It's Okay For The Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a decent MP3 player for the price I paid. It's not the best but if it breaks it's not like I'll be out $300. The thing I like is that it has an expandable memory, all you have to do is get a small SD card and you're in business. This is only a 4GB but I bought a 32GB card and now I have almost all of my music at my fingertips. The controls are easily figured out except the locking feature (just press the power button down), in my opinion. Once you get, it makes complete sense (I stumbled upon it one day while walking). It has good sound quality and it easily fit into my pocket or car compartment. All and all a good buy.

Works for my needs!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old MP3 player had one side that did not produce sound so bought a new one, and I like the size/weight for listening to books when I walk or work out at the fym.

average unit. user friendiness needs work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little high on price scale. Average performance. Like the larger size. I bought as a replacement to another sandisk (non-sport) unit that was getting beat up and no no longer functioned well. Materials in this unit are cheaper, and seem less durable (probably to be lighter as a sport version). The user friendliness is not as good as the the non-sport model and navigating menus was a little frustrating as it doesnt keep consistent with the non sport model. The return button takes you back to main menu when you dont want it to. I prefer the non sport version, but MP3 player selection was limited in store.

Fair performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound through auto radio, easy to load music. "Shufle" play re-starts at the same point every time I turn it on - that's getting to be a bit annoying.

love how easy it is to use. short life span
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how light and easy these are to use. They can be clipped to anywhere on your shirt or body and you can do what ever you need to do while listening. Easy to find the on and off and to increase the volume without even looking. HATE that they have short life spans. I have had 4 of them. They all last less than a year. Last one made it 4 months.

Cheap MP3/FM Solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So here is what I needed: An FM headphone solution for going to the gym so I could watch/hear the TVs there while getting in a cardio workout. This product does that. I have a IPhone 5C that is great for most things, but no tuner, IPod Classic is great for MP3 and has miles of space, but again no tuner, so in a moment of impulse I purchased this. It does exactly what the box says. The controls are uninspired and I had to look up how to shut it off or if goes dead, but it works adequately for going to the gym and listening to MP3. If you need an FM solution, this works. You'll be happier with and IPod Nano, but you'll spend more for your happiness (refurbished from apple is $99 when they have them in stock).

Feels Like A Step Down
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased primarily because I wanted something that I could bring on long runs (20+ hours) and not worry about battery life. This claims to have 25 hours of battery life so it fit my need. I was already using the Sandisk Sansa Clip which I was happy with so thought this would be a no brainer. Unfortunately, out of the box, this orders albums alphabetically by the 'title' tag rather than the track '#' tag. Even just ordering by the filename would be better, but no luck. One can navigate to directories on an sdcard and play directories, but the directory listings are not ordered alphabetically (possibly by creation date?) Just a mess all the way around. On the Sandisk forums, it is suggested to create playlists, but this is both additional work and not commonly required by other players, including other Sandisks players I own. Hopefully a firmware update will correct this. Beyond that, the player lacks a lock button... ??? Being a 'sports' player, this seems like it would be included. While running, especially if on trail and moving around more, it is very easy to hit the buttons and stop the player, jump tracks, etc etc. Very poor design. I did not return the product, but if had known the above prior to buying, would have tried to find something else.

Decent mp3 played
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a decent player but if it's made for sports, why no lock button? I have to clip it in annoying places to prevent myself accidentally skipping or pausing a song. Even then, something finds a way to hit it. The ease of use is great though, just plug in and drag music. Good to go

good sound,, but not for gym rats like myself
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned 3 of these MP3 players, my lasted purchase for automotive use only. Of the others I've purchased, they both are sitting on my desk as dead as door nails. I was under the impression since they were "SPORT"S MP3 I was under the impression that I could do my workout while wearing it. Well the first hint of sweat into this player resulted in the volume going to zero on it's own, then after a few drying session the thing just rolled over and died. I suggest if you are an avid gym attendee, do not buy this MP3 player, it is NOT impervious to sweat.

Wish they lasted longer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know these either break or just stop working for no apparent reason a few months at most after I but them, but it's the only mp3 player I can find that clips onto me, is the perfect size and shape, and plays .wma files. I wish there was a longer-lasting, more expensive model with a clip on the back, but since there isn't, this is my favorite on-the-go music-playing product.

Have had earlier version of this product before
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this is still a good, usable product, I have had problems with this right out of the gate. I did not purchase insurance this time because I had such a wonderful experience with the last version. It lasted a few years. Reason why I jumped when I saw it again. Maybe I just got a "dud". (Unfortunately, with BB, if you don't get the insurance - even for an obviously flawed product, you are out of luck when trying to get any kind of customer service.)

Not as good as the earlier model.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live out in the country and enjoy a walk with my SanDisk radio. The SanDisk that I used for about 2 years had perfect reception and was exactly what I needed. The new one that I got did not pick up as well and my favorite station continuously broke up. I took one back and got another one, and although not as bad, still broke up a lot. There are 2 stations that it will pick up, but not the one that I like. Guess the tuner is just not as good on the newer ones.

Nice little MP3 & FM Radio for LA Fitness TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return the first one I purchased as it would not recognize the SD Card music files locking up. The second one is working fine. I definitely recommend saving files to the SD card via the USB cable and while the SD card is in the MP3 player and when done put a piece of electrical tape over the SD card slot to keep sweat from your workout from entering. You might want to do the same for the USB slot for charging. The volume and keys seem to lock up if it gets wet (silly me I sometimes clip it to my collar where sweat from my workout covers the MP3 player - not good). Let it dry for a few hours and it seems to work just fine. The FM radio was my reason for buying the unit for the FM transmission for TVs at LA Fitness. The reception is intermittent but I think that is more of a function of LA Fitness transmission than the MP3 player which receives many other radio stations just fine. The ear buds are decent but easily fall out of my ears so I purchased another pair intended for running and life is good again. I am thinking of buying another one for my wife - but still waiting to be sure.
