If you just want some tunes while you exercise, you can't beat the Sansa Clip. It's lightweight, unobtrusive, holds a LOT of music, good sound quality, easy to use, good battery life, etc. I see others wearing their clunky iPods and iPhones at the gym and feel a little sorry for them. They paid 10 X as much for something that slows them down or gets in the way. I know they do more things but, come on, you're at the gym for what reason? to text your friends or work out? Bought this one for a GF because she liked mine.

This MP3 player is easy to use and has a long battery life. Sound quality is very good and it will hold 1000's of songs. It's great for listening to music, stored books, podcasts or FM radio while out running at the beach or just when you want to shut out the world. Best of all, it's very inexpensive.

    Great for audiobooks

I spend a lot of time in my car for work and practically inhale audiobooks. I was using my Kindle to do this but its size is not as easy to throw into my tote bag. I was also worried it would get cracked if it fell in the car. I tried my Sony mp3 player but it isn't compatible with most audiobooks. I bought this little device for $30 and I'm so glad I did. It sits nicely in a cupholder while I'm using it. It's SO simple to use with Audible. I spend literally a few minutes on Sundays loading it up, and that's it. Press "on" and "play" and you're good to go. I plug this in to my car speakers. It has a great sound. I can clip it to my waistband to keep listening while I take walks, and it's really lightweight. I'm really computer-savvy but I don't want my hobbies to feel like work! I like simple electronic devices. It's supposed to be fun, not a chore. This little baby fits the bill; unlike my (other) mp3 player, which requires many steps to convert the files (& isn't compatible with Audible). Received it within a few days of ordering and didn't even have to read the directions. Battery life is good.

I wanted an MP3 player that was small enough but still had the power of a bigger MP3 player for my workouts. This product also has the secure clip on the back that is convenient for attaching to my workout clothing when I'm on the move. Two extra features that I really love is the radio feature that allows me to listen to news and the slot for additional memory or music files. Great product for the money!

I purchased the SanDisk ZipClip MP3 Player for around $35. It has 4 GB of available storage. I liked it because it was small. I love that it can clip to my shirt or shorts while I work out. The sound is great. It is easy to use and put music on. I use it while I walk. I like to time myself while I am walking and it has a sport setting that lets me time my laps. I can make specific playlists of all the songs I put onto it. The battery life is pretty good. Love IT!

I wanted something small and easy to use to take my music to the beach. It clips on to my swimsuit and is very light and convenient. The red color makes it easy to find in my bag. Clear sound, excellent price.

I bought this to replace an Eclipse mp3 player. The latter worked fine for a year or so and then would only play on battery for an hour. It would cut off sharply with a very acrimonious sound. So far (a month), this has not happened with the SanDisk. I like the larger screen and menu. The fact that it has a clip was the major factor in deciding to purchase this model. The earbuds that came with it are very low quality, but the sound is good using a better quality headphone.

It's great having micro SD cards to load up all your favorite content - limitless memory capability - micro cards are very cheap these days. I love having a small unit that does not require a case or sleeve. The provided clip will allow you to clip it to almost anything. This Sansa Clip goes with me everywhere - commute to work, the office, the gym or business trips, you name it! Great device that is much cheaper than the 'I" device.

Bought for our 13, almost 14 year old. Something just to download music and use with a speaker. She loves it. My husband and I had bought the Sony Walkman mp3 2 years ago. Mine lasted maybe a year before it started not working unless charged, and my husbands same thing a year after initial. So we each got ipod Nanos 7th generation. Which we both love. Was tempted to get that for our daughter, or the shuffle. But when asked around they recommended this over the shuffle. With the fact of the difference in more Gb and has a screen! Best buy agent recommended the Sonys, but obviously our experience hindered that. The screen makes it easier to find songs compared to the shuffle. Downloaded music really easily. Our music is stored and organized on itunes, so the easy Drag and Drop feature makes it easy to transfer to a non apple product. So for 4gb with expandable memory and the price, it was awesome! Durable too! I did purchase the screen protector and gel skin cover as a bundle on amazon for a few $$ just in case. She loves that it comes with a clip too!

Great little player, works for music talking books and radio. The radio is the best part, most of the "I" thingies have just a player. the radio makes this a great piece of equipment to hear breaking news or sut listing to music. Yes I wous buy this again and I did. Mine was run thru the washing machine, It worked but not as good as a new one.

I've had two MP3 players in the past and I was very disappointed. This is the first one I've owned that has a built in radio. This one did not burn out from over charging like my last one did, which is exactly what I was looking for.Very simple construction and user friendly.I give the SanDisk Clip Sport 4GB a definite thumbs up!

I bought this second one for my son who is rough on electronics. Takes a lot of abuse with no problems I've had mine for over a year. Simply drag and drop music into folders and start running. Lightweight, clips on. Very easy to use controls even when on the run. Lasts over 7 hours on one charge.

I really like this mp3 player - is very easy to use, is exapandable up to 32g and that function works very well ! I use this every single night for sleep, or to listen to the radio and i must say - it picks up stations perfectly that my home stereo system has trouble receiving! Use the ear bud cord as the antenna! Very user friendly!!

I provide a PA and run sound for nonprofit functions. Some are concerts and some are DJing or just background music. At times I need to leave music going when I can't be there. Leaving my Mac Book or ASUS Republic of Gamers laptop unattended seems risky. I wanted something inexpensive that I wouldn't have to worry about leaving unattended. I was surprised at the reviews. I intended to buy the clip but the store I went to did not stock them and I got the clip sport and the largest micro sd that it supported. To me it sounds better than any Apple, Zune or Android device I have plugged into the PA. My MP3 library is all 320 KB/s and they sound wonderful. I am very impressed that this tiny inexpensive device seems acoustically superior to many much more expensive devices. My only issue with it is that I have not yet been able to successfully create, load and play a playlist. I have followed the directions, converted to the proper format... and not had success. My work around is to just create an SD card with only the music I want for the event. I have not tried to create a list on the device itself.

I bought this as a birthday present for my dad because it has an FM radio (soon to be 55 year old avid runner who still uses a cassette player from the turn of the century it seems) This device is actually much smaller in person than I would have imagined however it works great. It's easy to use, and perfect for running because of the clip. I took this out of the package and uploaded some songs for my dad as he doesn't have a computer himself - very easy to upload/charge, all you have to do is connect this via the USB port, drag your music from itunes (or whatever you use to keep your music) into the folder for the MP3. It's uploads very fast and sounds great! I will have to buy one for myself.
