    Sandisk 4GB Sport Clip

Absolutely like this Mp3 sport clip. Used to get the CD's like every1 used to but there would be 20 or so songs on disk & would usually only listen to 2 or 3 ! Also the CD players & Walkmans are lousy & break quickly. So its great now learning how to just connect the Clip to computer & Download just the specific songs i like & Movie Soundtrack clips as well ! The Sound is Excellent , very easy to use , the Clip is great , only slight drawback might b the earplugs , they like so many tend to fall out sometimes but its not too bad ! Great product , Highly recommend !

    Versatile Player for low cost

This player is great for exercise - it easily clips to shorts. FM radio is important to me, and reception is better than past Sansa players. It is nice having a micro-SD slot to add more storage. Not so great is the sequence that music is played - it plays alphabetically by song title! You can fix it in the MP3 tags, but that is extra work. It is possible to create playlists on your computer, but the process is not straightforward.

    SanDisk MP3 Players rock

    Posted .

First, let me say, I hate everything Apple. I will never spend a single dime on an Apple product. Not because the device itself is bad, but because I hate the way Apple locks their products down and I abhor iTunes. Their products are actually pretty good, but iTunes is a deal breaker for me. Now, to SanDisk. First, I cannot say enough good about this company. Everything I have ever purchased from SanDisk has performed as advertised. The MP3 players rock. They sound great and they are inexpensive. Plus you can add to the storage by adding a microSD card(but that seriously affects the battery time). And they are very easy to use. Just connect it to the computer, and drag your music files right on over. Ok, setting up a play list is a little harder but there are Windows programs that do that just as well if not better than iTunes, or you can do it like me - set it up to play the files in random order. My family has had several SanDisk MP3 players over the years and yes, sometimes they broke. But hey... they don't cost 200 bucks to replace. I figure if I get a year out of it I am way ahead of the curve. They make great stocking stuffers during Christmas too. Save your money and your sanity. Stay away from Apple. Oh, and iPods and iPhones are theft magnets, SanDisk MP3 players arent.

Best "all around" MP3 player for the price

This replaced my old Sansa Clip. The one with the blue n yellow display. I really enjoy how I can customize almost everything through the settings. My biggest greif is I can't cycle through the songs until the album art loads. If there was a way to disable the album art in favor of speed, it'd get higher marks for ease of use. The battery lasts quite awhile. I used it for a 112 mile tour (I'm a cyclist). It outperformed my Android smartphone in both performance and endurance. I also love how I can stop anywhere and auto tune the fm presets in less than a minute. I love "station hopping" while out on the road. If I could design my own Sansa Clip, it'd have a 3 way sliding toggle switch: Center=off, Left=radio, Right=resume last digital meda session. That would allow people to switch sources without having to look at the screen...

Our daughters received these for Christmas in purple and red. They love them! Everyone has commented at how tiny they are. I love the clip. They can clip them easy on their clothing without it being too heavy and them not having to carry them and drop them all the time. For the price, this is a great MP3 player. We have owned two other Sansas before. My husband lost his, so now he uses mine. The other Sansas we have had held up really well. This little clip has the FM radio, option to add ebooks, etc. Really nice product. Nice that they come in different colors too. As for a case, I had a hard time finding the case that was made for this little thing. I ended up ordering one directly from Sandisk. The MP3 player and the headphones fit great in the case. It has a clip so they can clip them on their pants, backpack, etc. Oh, the player charges by USB, but if you want, you can purchase the adapter (if you don't already have one) that allows it to be charged from the wall.

I love this little MP3 player, but...

I was surprised to see how small the Sansa is when I received it, but I love the form factor. I was also surprised at how nice and comfortable the ear buds are. I love the feature set and found the device incredibly easy to use. My wife bought one when she tried mine. My only complaint, is that after two months, it died. I hope there is no problem getting a warranty replacement, because I really love this MP3 player. I like SanDisk products and hope this is a fluke.

This is my 2nd SanDisk Sansa product. After looking at all available players, I chose the clip because of it's feature set and size. Battery life and sound quality are excellent - much improved over my old unit. I'd purchase another one of these without reservation.

portability-10 ease of use-8 feel in hands-10 sound-amazing this beats the random shuffling on apples shuffle or tiny touch screen of the nano. great for the gym or for a first music player. its out of the way and the screen is a good size, since it is a dedicated music player. and the perks of this little thing? additional microSDHC slot and the price.

All my music in my pocket at a great price

I have been waiting for quite some time for the size, price and ability to take a flash card large enough for my music catalog. Battery life is great, and it connects as a standard USB drive when needed. The Sansa User Interface is very simple (read: "primitive"). I think of it as the "MP3 Player for Dummies" interface. Five minutes searching the 'net, I found the opensource project http://rockbox.org. It took me another five minutes to read enough to get the Windows download and update the UI. Now I have all the features I want. And if I need to, I can turn it on with the original Sansa UI.

This MP3 player is a great deal! I have owned numerous iPods in the past, but I wanted an MP3 player that I could put music on from my Microsoft Surface. Enter the Sandisk Clip Sport. Putting music on is as simple as going to windows explorer and dragging and dropping. Great sound quality, as well. Seems to be a very durable unit. Oh -- if you purchase one, be sure to go to the Sandisk website and upgrade to the latest firmware!

    iPod Replacement

I bought this as an iPod replacement for my dad. It is so much easier to operate than an iPod- you literally drag and drop and there's no need to convert, as this little beast supports a plethora of audio formats including lossless! Not to mention the battery life is amazing as well, and there's extra stuff like a built in radio. My dad isn't going back to Apple anytime soon!

    Exactly what I wanted

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This is a nice little player, exactly what I wanted to allow me to play music while on my lawn mower. I use sound isolating in-ear monitors, and the sound isolation is at least as good as my old protective muffs. Now I'll lose my hearing based on my music choices, not my mower. The player is easy to use, and the sound can be modified to suit the user's taste using the 5-band equalizer, but in reality the ear/headphones used and the quality of the source material affect the sound quality in most mp3 players way more than the player itself does. I have never come even close to using the battery up in 6-8 hours of listening. My only issue is that the screen is impossible to read in sunlight, so I have to go over to a shady spot to read it, but that's not a big deal given that I paid so little for this toy.

As a first MP3 player, it has a good set of features. The manual that comes with it is definitely a basic user manual! but the knowledge base has a lot of good info such as the ease of creating playlists using Windows Media Player: connect the unit to your computer, put your songs in a folder, drag them into WMP's playlist area, create a playlist (m3u only) & save it to the song folder, drag the folder to the SanDisk's music folder. Here's a link to instructions with pictures: http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/14337/kw/sdmx24/session/L3RpbWUvMTM5NDQ0OTI2Ni9zaWQvX3BEdHNUT2w%3D My wife also connects it to her CD boom box to play long meditation and sleep music (sleep are 8-10 hours long). Haven't used the microSd card yet, but the sleep music pushed it to only 100 MB free space of the internal 4 GB -- so will be soon! :)

What I really liked about this mp3 player is the fact that you can add expandable memory up to 32GB, just what I need for my music library. Its price is great, the size is excellent, but i also like to have wi-fi with my mp3 player something apple offers on their Ipod touch, yet to expensive. Overall great product from SanDisk.
