For the money it can't be beat! Small and compact.

The sound quality is amazing, plays the radio, and you can expand its memory with a memory card. Great mp3 player!

Bought this to replace an older SanDisk that got damaged. It's durable, easy to use, has great sound (although the earphones that come with it are simply adequate). Plenty of features and capacity.

Loved the MP3 player. It's small enough to carry anywhere and the clip makes it super easy for outdoor use

I think I bought this about a year ago and it's holding up fine. I use it at work and attach it to the stem on my bike. The battery life is far better than my phone so it's why I use this. The main downside is that the more songs you add, the random feature messes up. I have about 600 or so songs atm and it tends to repeat the same ones. At times, it will repeat a small block of music that you just listened to. If you have over 1000 songs, it won't work properly. What's worse is that Sandisk knows this and can't fix it. If you can put up with fwd'ing songs that you *just* listened to, buy it. Otherwise, I would recommend something else.

This is the third SanDisc MP3 player I bought in recent years (I have owned Fuze and Clip Zip in the past) and probably the last one. For starters it seems like every player I got worked WORSE than the previous one and had LESS usable features than the previous one. Clip Sport was the last straw. Not only they removed dedicated power button (I did not like it but I could live without it) but they also removed ability to easily sync music with Windows Media Player via playlists (wpl). I used to be able to drag my list into the sync pane of WMP and all my music INCLUDING playlist itself was synced. Not anymore! Why would you possibly REMOVE feature that worked so well in the past?!Returned it the same day. No more Sansa players for me.

This replaces another Sansa clip that was purchased over ten years ago and finally started having problems. Great ear buds, easy to transfer music from the computer and a snap to use. All the Sansa products we have bought have been great!

Bought this to replace my original Sansa Clip. it is easy to use, the charger is not the same as previous one, it is now a micro charger which is good as these are the same as my cell phone.

Sandisk player is a nice reasonable MP3 player. However, this player will not play any Drm protected content such as Audible,Spotify,Itunes etc. I thought that it would play in Audible because it lists Sandisk Players as compatible,but this particular model will not work due to the lack of USB Mode in the settings. The USB mode would have be set to MTP to play Drm Content. I thought that this might be helpful to first time MP3 buyers.

For the money, its a decent player, the interface is cumbersome but if you want ipod, buy an ipod. Excellent product to avoid apple

The product will work if you keep it up to date on software

I had a SanDisk a few years ago and I loved it, but they've made some changes that I don't like. On my old SanDisk I could search by Genre, but not anymore. On the old one when I searched by Album it would show the artist's name first, but not anymore. If you don't have every album title memorized then you're going to be confused. Also the lines don't scroll anymore, so they're cut short (about 12 letters) which further adds to the confusion. I have 3 albums called Greatest Hits, by different artists. Even though they're all on separate albums in my Windows Media Player Library, on this MP3 player they're all on one album called Greatest Hits. And the songs are all mixed together too. Baffling. It's a good thing I only wasted $36 on this.

Ok we have purchased a few of these and this time I bought 2 one for me and one for my wife. The only knock I have on them is the clip usually ends up breaking after a period of time even with care. They are great little MP3 players that hold a lot of music and listen to the radio with. Perfect for trips and for working out, I really love them. I prefer them for music over any apple product for sure since it is just drag and drop for your music. These will support MP4 as well.

Basic features. Does what it says. Plays different formats. FM radio. Nice for they gym.

This product has a number of annoying features, but the most annoying is that it takes as much as 30-45 seconds for it to respond after you hit the play button. Everything else happens virtually instantly, but the play button lags. So, imagine if you want to rewind to a particular place on your audio book. If you have to search and hit play several times to find the right place, it can take 3-4 minutes to get to where you want to be. This player also won't work properly with my Sony headphones, but I could live with that. I would return this, but I can't find the adapter that came with it (my bad) so I'm out of luck. Will be chucking it in the recycle bin because using it is too aggravating.

several reviews stated device did not have a "lock" feature. with firmware update/version 1.7, lock feature is present. with display lit, hold "back" button for a couple of seconds. will lock/unlock.

This is a good product and good price as well. I like i very much.
