It is a lower end Mp3 player, but it was a purchase for our five year old. He enjoys it and it did not cost very much.

I had a sansa clip zip and tried to "upgrade." The clip zip was great but this machine was terrible. It would not play my audiobooks in order (the work around on the tech support site did not work for me). Controls were hard to use (the power button is also the select button, so I turned it off about half the time I wanted to select). FM reception was lousy. Sound quality was not good and volume was low no matter what earphones I used.

My husband bought this for himself and put songs on it the first day he received it. He's able to take it to work because it doesn't have any recording capability which is prohibited in his work place. It was a very good buy for him.

Great price for a needed product. I had the previous version of this player and it lasted for almost 10 years. These are great products and perfect for running, light weight and holds just the right amount of music.

I continue to use an mp3 player. The last several I have purchased are Sansas. They are very solid and have always worked well. I like the radio feature on this one, as well. I've never gone wrong with a Sansa.

I have the older 4 GB version of this product and I love it... I needed a MP3 player for my son so I decided to buy him this one and I am incredibly disappointed. The older version rarely needs charging unlike this one, which needs to be charged daily. Sometimes it won't even turn on. I would have returned it but I travel in and out of the US so I am stuck with it... I use it when I know I will need it less than 4 hours.

I bought this as a replacement for my Sandisk Sansa M230 512MB mp3 player, which served me well for almost a decade. My biggest disappointment lies with the shuffle feature. I typically load 700-800 songs and select shuffle, but it only shuffles among about 5% of the songs. I find myself hitting "next" repeatedly in an attempt to reach a unique song. My old M230 had a similar problem but it didn't hold many songs so it wasn't much of an issue. I wouldn't be surprised to discover it utilizes the same shuffle algorithm. A lesser disappointment is that the display turns off after a few seconds to conserve battery life. To see song details I have to push a button. I understand the necessity, but my M230's modest display used so little energy that the metadata remained visible all the time. I wish this unit had a similar option because I don't require a graphic intensive display. It's a serviceable mp3 player but the poor shuffle performance has me shopping for a non-Sandisk unit, which is a shame because overall Sandisk makes decent, reliable, easy-to-use players.

This has been a great asset to our family. We get to listen to our music, and he gets to be quiet in our car!

The only down side I have found is that it is hard to read in bright sunlight, overall, I love it.

GREAT PRICE AND MEMORY STORAGE SIZE BOUGHT FOR MY SON HE LOVES IT

I bought this because I have a low memory phone and I want to listen songs when drive. So I connected this to Aux in my car and is really good.

Ordered this as a replacement for my ipod suffle. I don't like working with apple as it is more difficult. Am very pleased with the MP3.

I bought the SanDisk - Clip Sport 8GB* MP3 Player in Jan 2016. This is the end of Feb and it has stopped working. No reset button. Trash.

Bought one for my teenage daughter and she loves it! She loves the clip on function. Liked it so well, I bought one for myself!

This is a nice small MP3 player for places you can't use your phone. The expandable memory is a nice function.

If you want to listen to downloaded Audible purchased Books, AVOID the Sports and Jam MP3 Player. The Audible Chapter ModeOption has not been supported since the Clip Zip. Also, Voice recording is no longer there; Radio and Music are O.K.

Bought this as a Fathers Day gift for 76 year old low-tech person. He loved it. Learning was easy.

Worked OK for about 3 weeks then went dead. "Tips & Troubleshooting" on Sandisk site was useless; user manual was useless. Nothing worked. Wasted tooooo much time trying to get this piece of garbage going. Don't waster your $$$. Buy an ipod..

This is the 2nd time omg, 1st time it worked great and easy to transfer music but then after 2 weeks it just died so I went back and exchanged but now the friggin plastic cheap thing won't turn off, buyer beware this Sandisk is a no no

I was so disappointed with this for my specific purpose. It might be good for radio or something other than audiobooks but I could not get audio books to download in order. I have 2 other SanDisk devices currently and have no problems whatsoever with them, but they are getting old and I wanted one with 8g so I could have plenty of room for books when we travel. I contacted customer service at SanDisk 4 times and nothing they suggested helped.
