This is exactly what I needed and cost about 1/3rd of what the flashier versions cost. I have a very long commute to work and need something easy to work with that will play my audiobooks. It's very user friendly and it does the job. I've only charged it twice in the month that I've been using it and the second time is because I forgot to turn it off when I went into work.

It is difficult to find standalone mp3 players any more, and I was very happy to find this. I thought the clip would be bothersome, because I don't always need it to clip-on, but the clip comes in handy while not getting the way. Controls, user interface, and sound quality are all fine.(And I like the splash of color.)

I bought this device to hold a selection of music to be portable for outdoor use. This device is light weight, small and holds a good amount of music, especially with the addition of a micro card. Yes, I would recommend it.

I bought this 8 GB MP3 player to replace a 4 GB that I lost while traveling. I would have bought another 4 GB player, but Best Buy was running a sale on the 8 GB model, so it was very cost effective to buy the larger capacity player. The Clip Sport is very easy to load with music and use. I highly recommend this product.

Im 300 songs in, and I have sooo much space left. This is by far one of the best things I ever purchased for myself. I do wish I had the option to make separate playlists, but for the price and the space, I make do!!! I am 35 and I love it, also a teen or even a young child would adore. I recommend to everyone. So easy to upload songs. It is fool-proof.

When all you want is to listen to music and easily copy files from computer to device this works. One negative is when it charges and gets to 100% it turns on and starts playing.

Easy to set up, easy to transfer MP3 files to and from and to manage from a PC/Mac. I wish the earbuds had been labelled L and R because I use the SanDisk Clip Sport as a portable repository for neuroprogramming MP3s, some of which have different sound content for left and right ear. But the player itself is great. It's also great for portable music.

Great for working out, lite weight and very easy to use. Battery life is really good as well and display is very good. This is my third unit and I hope that these are items that will remain on in the market.

I use this product to listen to audio books. With a 16GB external flash drive I can load over 15 books at one time. You can keep the flash drive in the player while you are loading your media to the flash drive, and load either to the player's internal drive or external drive when connected via the USB cable. If you load to the external drive, you must remember to "eject" the drive via windows explorer or it will not close properly and may screw up the sequence of your tracks which is not good for audio books..
