I bought this for an aquaintance for her Birthday. I have owned one of the original Sandisk Clips (2GB) for several years and have found it to be of excellent quality. Sure, any smartphone can be a good MP3 player but a smartphone is a bit big to be carrying around when you're exercising. Sandisk has really done a good job of keeping the Clip line of MP3 players up to date. Clips are easy to set up and easy to use. I highly recommend Sandisk Sansa Clip MP3 players to anyone looking for a quality, reasonably priced dedicated MP3player.

I took a chance on buying the SanDisk - Clip Sport 8GB* MP3 Player because BB was offering a great deal on it ($20 off). Boy am I glad I did! This is a great little player that's easy to use, has a nice little screen for album covers, and very solid music quality. The buds that came with the product are more than adequate for my needs with this player. I like the clip feature because of it's placement flexibility. (Clip to a pocket, inside a sweatshirt pocket, etc.) I have no complaints and would buy this again in the future.

Purchased after damaging 2 Sony MP3 players in 2 years. While it is only an 8GB, it get the job done for downloading podcasts and music for my daily commute.

bought this mp3 player to go to cardiac rehab and it is just what i wanted. sound is good and it holds enough music to keep me going

For $50, you get a decent product. It may not have some of the "cool" as a nano, but you can put on a lot more data onto it. It also has the ability to put in a memory card for more music or whatever. I wouldn't recoment it for anything other than music though.

I bought this to use at the gym. It has sufficient space to hold enough music and an easy to use interface. I feel it was money well spent.

Using this while I work out and it is easy to use and the sound is great.

Instructions assume a previous knowledge of such electronics. Not sure I understand it now, but I did get my music loaded and to that point it works fine.

Recording is easy and operating it is also. But, this is the second one I have purchased, the first one just quit working and the second one also. Threw away the first one since I had it for awhile. The second one took back to store had only a couple of days.The girl look at it and reset it, wish I would have known,could have maybe saved the first one.

I decided to go with a lesser price product. Storage and sound are good. Not very easy to maneuver around to find what you want to listen to. Has locked up once or twice and you can't shut down when it does. You have to wait for the battery to run out and then recharge for it to work again.

I love this mp3 player, it's light and easy to use. The battery life is excellent and the clarity of the music is awesome! I am so glad I purchased it!

I had trouble at first understanding how to turn the player on/off. But now I enjoy listening to my music.

I would recommend this product. Its easy to use holds a lot of music.

Only had it for a few weeks but so far it's great. We use it for car rides loading podcasts and music for road trips. Also the radio is great to have for running and/or workouts. The price is right for what you get.

Bought this as a replacement for a previous Clip player.. One of the few inexpensive units that play .FLAC files.. Like the ability to copy songs from my music server, with 1000's of cd's, and not be tied to a proprietary codex, or music store..

The only problem with it is that it does not keep your place when turned off. Not a problem for songs, but I use it for audio books and a typical part is 45 to 60 minutes long. When powered off, you loss your place, so I need to keep the power on which means I have to charge the battery much more often.

The directions with this item were very easy to understand and use especially for someone who is not "tech minded".
