Love these things. Only bought it because the old one ran out of memory. So small and easy to use.

I am pretty happy with most SanDisk mp3's, but I have a large Audible collection and I needed a larger storage capacity for them. (I don't like using my phone). While other SanDisk devices are compatible for Audible.com downloads, this one is not. It cannot be activated for playback on the Audible app. The other (lower storage capacity) ones can. Weird! Also, I didn't like the buttons on this one. They don't respond easily. Will be returning it tomorrow.

When you have an old family member and they don't understand that can use the smart phone to do the exact same thing as this does.....This is FANTASTIC ....they hate change...and this thing works, and no need for them to learn anything NEW

This is a nice MP3 player. It has a big 32gb capacity, so plenty of room for music. You can also download podcasts and audio books from your computer. I haven’t tried the podcasts or audio books, but it was quick and easy to transfer music from my computer. Battery life is good and the player is very small and light and easily and securely clips to a waistband. The menu navigation controls are easy to use. The included earbuds are adequate, but you probably already have a pair of higher quality earbuds laying around the house. My only real complaint is in charging. It charges through a computer USB port with the included very short cable, which is not always most convenient. Plugging the cable into the MP3 player can also be a bit of a challenge because the slot is so small and asymmetrical. Fortunately, it doesn’t need to be charged daily.

I am not a very technical person with a lot of the newer devices. I have always been really good with computer issues, so I don't consider myself uneducated. Yet, I'm still trying to figure out this device. I also hate that no manual comes with it. The radio function won't work in my wooded area either. So at the present, I would not suggest this device to new users of these types of devices. For the avid users, it's probably a great buy, for the storage and price.

Bought this for my wife. WOW! She loves it. Just exactly what she was wanting.

MP3 player purchased for my wife as she works out daily. She loves it, as it was quite easy to download her dvd's to it. This is actually her 2nd one, the first one she absolutely wore it out using it.

Would not recommend it, there is no Bluetooth. Not great for wireless headphones. not worth the money...

I find this is better for me on Road Trips instead of trying to find a decent radio station to listen to.

It’s amazing to think of an mp3 player like this as “old school.” But with more and more people listening to streaming as their music choice, I guess it is, but if you have some music in your library on MP3’s or other music files, this inexpensive device is certainly worth buying. First of all, it’s feather light and TINY, it’s smaller than my thumb and clips easily on your clothing or a backpack. In fact, not losing it might be a problem, but it’s powerful. This 16 GB model will hold 4000 of your favorite songs. You can buy a bigger version, but seriously, do you have more than that many songs you’d want to take with you? Loading it is easy, just connect to your computer and drag and drop your music files into the device. After loading your songs, you can locate them on the little color screen by artist or title, create playlists or just have the “Shuffle” feature surprise you with what song will pop up next. It comes with a built in FM radio, which uses your headphones as an antenna. Here’s a hint I discovered if you buy this player. Pushing the forward and backward buttons tunes the radio up and down. It took FOREVER to tune up the dial. Upon messing around with the player, I discovered that if you hold either button for three seconds and then push it again quickly the radio will quickly scan up or down until it finds the next station. (This is not mentioned in any instruction manual.) If you like the station you can add it to your favorites. The player also has a voice recorder mode and a stopwatch (you can use it to record laps). Also a timer in case you want to fall asleep to music (not sure that’s a good idea with a cord around your neck though!) On the negative side, this player does not offer Bluetooth. It wasn’t that much of a problem because my premium Bluetooth headphones from Bose and JBL also contain a cord which fits right into this Sandisk player. The music sounds great with premium headphones. Bottom line, for under 40 bucks this player is great. Load your music on it and you can listen and save your phone battery for other uses.
