Battery would not hold charge

Thought ideal for my 9 year old

Will now figure out how to get it back to the North Pole and evaluate if there are better options. There is no on/off function for this so it would just drain but now it doesn't charge or the screen doesn't turn on.

However, having spent the last 30 minutes with technical support, I can state with all certainty, Audible books are NOT supported. SanDisk turns off 5 minutes even when hard wired USB connected. Package instructions were vague and need to go to SanDisk website. Unacceptable. Returned item.

I Pod buttons were lousy
