I bought this to replace my Zune (bought September 2007) because I couldn't find a place to replace the audio jack that broke (2019). The durability and size of this device work great at my factory job (10-12 hour shifts). I have a playlist of 323 songs on it, around 16 hours total. Unfortunately, it wouldn't sync the playlist through Windows Media Player so I had to manually create a folder on the device and put the songs within. The shuffle feature only plays around 4 to 5 hours of songs and then starts repeating from the first song played. If I am listening to a podcast, switch to music at work, and then back to the podcast for my drive it starts the podcast over. My Zune didn't have this shuffle problem and I could switch between music and podcast without having to start fresh. Disappointing considering the Zune stopped having updates in 2015.

Purchased less than a week ago. MP3 was obviously returned by another customer as it had songs loaded on it. The ear bud connection to the MP3 is not snug and it often shorts out. One suggestion to SanDisk is to better label the buttons for beginners. I didn't return the MP3 because by the time I noticed the short in the ear buds I had all my music loaded and didn't want to start over. As far as the previous owners songs, I just deleted them but disappointed Best Buy would resell a used item.

Bought in store under the assumption it had expandable memory. It does not, but that's really my fault. Battery life is touted as 9 hours, I never got more than 4 with bluetooth headphones. It would only automatically connect with paired devices at completely random intervals and bluetooth would randomly turn itself off completely. Had to manually connect via menu options most of the time. (Headphones and Car stereo.) Bluetooth connection would cut out from time to time being in my pocket and headphones around my neck.The unit saw no abuse, only kept in my pocket while working. Non-the-less it decided to render itself completely useless at random in the middle of my shift, for no real apparent reason, and die after a whopping 27 days of use. (19 days realistically.) Garbage, bottom line. Disappointing, I really did have higher hopes.

I love the way the album cover will appear on the screen. But not every song, I'm still trying to figure out how to do it for all songs. The FM radio isn't that great maybe I need to try it outside but inside my house not every station comes in clearly, But I didn't buy it for the radio

I thought this small product would pack a punch but the Bluetooth feature is about as useless as a barking Chihuahua. Blue tooth works well when I'm at home but as soon as I leave to the gym my SanDisk cant decipher which headset to connect too and ends up not working... If you are a fan of wired headphones then this device is for you, but if your using wireless get used to lost connections.

I own the older version of this MP3 player and loved it but it no longer would charge. I purchased the newer version and hate it. Does not stay charged as long as the old version, if you toggle back and forth between the timer and the music and forget to go back to the timer the timer will not sound after the time is up. It does not have a clock which I really hate.

The SanDisk Clip is awkward and slow to navigate. No scrolling on menus, you have to click on each entry . It 's hard to get to the Album menu so can be difficult to switch albums during a workout. It's also very clunky. I would not buy this again

I have a Sandisk Clip Sport 8gb which I love. I wanted a second one to keep at work, so I decided to try the "plus" version. I encourage you to consider the "Clip Sport" before buying the "plus" version. The water resistant case means the headphone jack is deeply recessed, and requires use of headphones with a very narrow plug. The supplied earbuds work fine, but other headphones may not physically plug deep enough into the socket. (I am not going to modify my Grado headphones to accommodate a player costing half as much!). Also, unlike the Clip Sport, the plus does not have micro-SD expansion slot. That's OK. But Best Buy shows a 'bundle' deal where they try to sell you a micro-SD card with this unit. What's up with that? Finally, the water-resistant housing results in controls which are harder to push than the Clip Sport version. Maybe that's unavoidable. Unless you need bluetooth and water-resistance, I encourage you the consider the cheap and cheerful Clip Sport instead.

I get that most will say that it's not good on the ears for a mp3 player to loud, but I already have hearing loss and I need a player that it loud. Not nearly as good as the discontinued ipod nano. Will be returning.

works great like to use on my motorcycle has plenty of space

The player worked okay for a while but then started duplicating songs and not playing some songs in the playlist. Customer support said I had to reformat it but that did not help. It continues to duplicate some songs and to not play others.

Broke in less than a month. Screen is frozen and the buttons are unresponsive.

I have a bluetooth device for my cochlear implant but this SanDisk player won't even find it at all. I ended up plugging an old-school audio wire to a wireless microphone and that did the trick.

Got this product about a month ago, it worked just fine, but suddenly it died for no reason.The price is affordable,but I expected it to last longer than a month.

Connected to my Beats wireless earbuds but would not connect to Beats Studio Wireless headphones, which is why I bought it. Other than that it's a nice MP3 player. As far as Best Buy, great service and fast shipping.

I purchased this thing as it's one of the few MP3 players still on the market. I read the instructions and gave it a full charge. Once it was done charging, I removed it from the charger and it froze on a scrambled screen. I pressed the center button to reset the unit which worked. I plugged it into my computer and the only thing it did was charge. I reset the unit again and got a scrambled screen upon startup. Did that twice until I got a normal start screen and tried to connect it to the computer again. Nothing. Then I tried my memory stick thinking it might be the USB port on my computer, but the USB stick worked fine. This was a complete waste of gas and time. The only good thing that came out of this experience is now I know to stay away from SanDisk products.

Purchased Sandisk Sportclip 16G for Bluetooth to wireless headphones. Paid the $59 Christmas price. Clip broke in under 15 minutes. No biggie I glued a cheap clip to the back. Now 10 days old and I find the sound quality extremely poor, sounding like mono instead of stereo. The other half of the stereo sound is 80% quieter than the other. Maybe this is the difference in m4a or mp3 files? I'm growing tired of this thing and wish I has spent more and got an IPOD. I could complain more, but I find this poor quality.

I chose this unit to replace an older SanDisk that simply wore out. I figured it would be Plug and Play. Hah. Computer would not recognize it, Tech Support was worthless, and on-line Help stopped at Windows 8 and I run 10. I've now purchased a totally different unit that does more (eg, sleep timer), is cheaper and earns 5 stars. This unit going back tomorrow.
