Okay, so I'm a bit older. I can just barely navigate this tiny little screen when I'm out hiking or whatever and I don't have readers of some kind with me. I've since bought a $4.00 magnifier to make things easier. If only there were a way in the settings to make the text a bit larger, I'd give this thing no less than 5 stars. I wonder if an Ipod is easier? I should've checked....

Finally replaced my portable CD player for walking and hauling wood ... don't know WHY I didn't do it sooner! Super light weight and great sound! I added a memory card for more music.

I use primarily for FM while working out. It's easy to use and carry for this purpose.

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter. Easy to setup and download. Simple controls that my daughter learned quickly. Good features for a very low price.

I have used several mp3 players. This one is easy to use for books on tape.

I use this MP3 player while exercising. It has all the features I want. The clip has held it securely in my shirt pocket while the "lock" feature keeps it from changing functions. FM radio function is great especially the auto station preset. At it's price pt. It is a steal. Some reviewers complained that the volume cuts in and out, mine did the same until I noticed that the earphone plug was not completely inserted. Using a firm grip I was able to push the connector in till none of the silver portion of the plug showed and it worked fine. Subsequent use of the plug proved much easier requiring less effort. Installing music from my CD's was a breeze, to my preference and free compared to internet down loading.

When importing CD tracks, the tracks don't normally play in track order. I have to create a Playlist to force track order. When playing the play list, the tracks have a 0.5 sec "pause" between tracks. This is very noticeable for albums with songs that span tracks. The earbuds supplied are too easy to plug with ear wax or moisture. One earbud was so plugged that no sound was emanating. Once I carefully cleaned out the buildup, it was working again. The earbuds uses a rubber-like stopper design. If the stoppers aren't fully engaged in the ear, the lower frequencies are reduced. If the stoppers are engaged the lower frequencies are a little "boomy" but the stoppers become easily dislodged from head movement. I can now appreciate the standard Apple open-earbud design better. I would recommend this product along with buying replacement open-style earbuds or headphones

Overall. This is a simple no thrills mp3 player and serves its purpose.

Sansa Clip Zip player is a versatile unit with a great feature set. Very good on battery life, bright screen, good controls and above average ear buds.

Can't distinguish mp3 or WMA files, and place them in proper places. You have to attach to computer and move the files to the proper categories. I mostly listen to books, and find that the device often plays the parts out of order, necessitating hunting for the right part and resuming. Battery life is also way below the 25 hrs suggested. Another failing is that when the battery gets low, you can't stop, pause, or turn the device off...it's 'frozen. You have to wait until it's completely dead, recharge, then hunt for the place you left off. Save yourself the frustration...don't buy this product.

We loaded songs easily and my grandson was using the device in minutes.

Sansa has finally made an 'improved' product that is worse than previous offered products. While sound quality durability and price are still fairly good the features that made the Sansa Clip Zip and other previous versions great have been left out. Don't plan on putting this any where the buttons might accidentally get bumped, there is no button lock to prevent tracks from being skipped and you will skip tracks. If you enjoy audio books make sure you know where you are when you turn this one off as it dose not keep your place as older models have. All in all I am not impressed and when I need to replace this one I will most probably be searching other mp3 companies for listening devices.

This was super easy to operate. The most computer illiterate person would have little to no problem loading/operating this device

Purchased this item, but wasn't able to test it out in the time window for returns. After opening the mp3 player the FM radio worked but the battery was low (expected). After plugging the Mp3 player into my Windows 10 computer it wanted to reformat; after that pop up, the device stopped working. I installed drivers and other needed items but my computer wouldn't recognize the device. The SanDisk customer care was useless, the rep I had knew nothing of drivers,or where to find the serial codes on the device, and thought that Windows 10 was the same as Windows Vista. (uh no buddy) It's currently in transit to be replaced since they wont return it. I don't know if I just got a faulty device or it was a Windows 10 issue. But I hope the replacement works better than the original one I purchased.

I bought this to listen to while running. Definitely more manageable to run with than a cellphone. Good reception and sound quality despite being worn daily for long runs.

Good for young listeners. Good for activities. Holds approx 1k songs

this is a good entry level player for a person buying for the first time.

It is easy to use. I loved the ease of the mp3. I downloaded a lot of sermons videos and music. I did not like that the charging port with would soon not hold a chat if you use a charger other than what came with it. Make sure you buy a warranty on it because it will eventually go out.
