This is the 3rd Sansa player have owned over the last 10 years. Only 1 has died, I keep one in each vehicle and boat. It saves using up my cell phone's battery. Over all that time, the user interface has remained remarkably similar, which to me is an advantage.

This MP3 player provides several design advantages when working out. However, the new model has no rubberized skin to protect it from sweat and the battery is unreliable. The battery doesn't hold a charge for a number of days when not in use. Sometimes the MP3 operations freeze up. Other times the volume drops on its own.

I love this player it has a lot of functions on it well worth the $35 bucks that I paid for it considering the iPad is $124

I use it all the time for work, walking. I can put plenty of music on it and still listen to the radio when I want to.

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone! !!! It will not allow you to download music like other MP3 player's I have tride to put play list from iTunes and also Rhapsody it always says not compatible with MP3 so I am very upset because the girl at Best Buy gainesville ga said it was the best for me and would do what I needed it to do......IT DOESN'T!!!!!! if I had my receipt I would take it back!!!

Love it. I always listen to my ipod. Love music. regular earphones hurt my ears so I bought the large type like headphones.

Even though it's a cheaper version of an mp3 player, it's good for the price.

I bought this for my sister and like it so much I am going to get one for my self.

I bought this so I could use it while i am running. So far it has not let me down and has enough memory for a change of music every day! IN fact, I categorized my files to each day of the week so I will never get bored. I highly recommend it for other runners

I have purchased an item from this manufacturer at a black friday event, and the mp3 player lasted a few years.

Its too big and it won't play the slot cards I bought to use with the original slot radio I had. So I lost money.:(

I bought it for my husband. He does not have a smartphone, so it's perfect for him to use while working.

A very handy and a nice sounding player. Very convenient to be used during my gym sessions as well. Sounds good as well.

If I could rate less I would! Ordered as early Black Friday deal. Attempted to set up Thanksgiving day, the next day I had to reload to my laptop as it could not recognize the device. Finally I took it for a walk only to find that NONE of the buttons work. I checked the web sight and this has been one of the issues with this mp3 player. Took it back to BB on Saturday.

My wife likes this small MP3 player, her iPod shuffle nano was broken again, so we brought this one

I use this to listen to audiobooks that I've downloaded from the library. Great to use while driving. You are able to listen at 1 1/2 times speed.

This was a present to my niece, and she liked it. It would have been better if the screen was a bit bigger.

Good for what I use it for. I take it with me on the bike and it plays well

I have owned 2 other sansas, ipods, zen, and of course smartphones so I have a little experience with beating up electronics. This little sucker does the job of giving you workout music and not breaking the bank while doing it.

I am glad that it has more than one playlist - it was something I wanted a lot from the last one. However, only 100 songs per playlist can get limiting for me. The most irritating issue it has is with songs ripped directly from CDs. These songs are very laggy, making it hard to even set the volume correctly. Having the SD card slot is, as always, very helpful.
