This was purchased for 1st grade students to have a selection of books-on-tape available. Theyare very effective for this purpose, they are tiny and take up very little space, and the students can operate them without intimidation. They're hard for me to load and check, because of their small size, but the 6-year-olds love them!

The SanDisk clip sport mp3 holds plenty of songs for a young girl just starting out with her own music. It's easy to load and durable for all the "oops" drops. Holds about 1000 songs so there's plenty of room.

Bought this for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! Very easy to use!

Great compact MP3 player for a really good price! Only complaint is having to split order into two, due to maximum limits.

Earlier today I bought a mp3 player that was not Sansa, simply because it was a little cheaper. I hated it with a passion. So I went back to Best Buy to get the Sansa because I previously owned 2 Sansa mp3 players. Needless to say that this is exactly what I wanted. Never again will I turn away from my old faithful.

Got this on Black Friday for $30. Excellent sound.

Bought to replace Walkman that was stolen. I liked the size and the fact it'll take a micro SD. After a few months, started having trouble with the computer recognizing it. After trying different computers and cords, it's now not recognized by the computer at all. Contacted customer service, which is a laughable joke. Will stick with Sandisk micro sds, seems to be the only thing the company does well. My last Walkman lasted me over 6 years. I only used this player at home and it only lasted 10 months. Will be replacing it with a Sony, should of bought it in first place. What a disappointment. Save your money, buy something else. If you buy this and have to replace it in 8-10 months, it'll be cheaper to just buy something better.

This is a very nice player. Inexpensive and has a lot of features. The add on ability with the memory card is a great feature. The only real problem is the battery indicator is a light green color so it is not so easy to tell when I am low a battery power. I have already lost power due to this issue. Otherwise, this product is more than capable of delivering a pleasant music listening experience.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She uses it all day at work, no issues with battery life or anything like that. It is very small, but the screen is still decent. For what I paid, I can't say anything bad about it.

The main thing i dont like about this player is that it plays songs in an album in alphabetical order, instead of in track order. Its just a little nit picky thing that bugs me.

So ive tried, sanza fuse, sony walkman. Only to find out im paying double the price to be able to load pictures on on the player. This does everything a Sony walkman or sansa fuze will do except the pictures. I had the walkman so i could put videos on it, then i found it doesnt support mp4. Same with the Fuze. Not to mention the Walkman is not expandable. The Sansa Clip can be expanded to whatever micro sd card you want, i believe they go to 32gb? I only bought a new one because i left mine laying on my garage floor and accidentally ran over it with my truck. And it still worked! The screen just didnt work anymore. Only thing i wish is that it had a longer battery life than 6 hours but that doesnt really matter since i plug it in to the usb port on my truck stereo and control it via that.

Easy to set up and use. Very good battery life. Dependable.

This is my 2nd SanDisk. Loved my first one. Great sound, easy to use, lasted a couple of years until it got left out in the rain. Can't really blame the player for not surviving the downpour. Replaced it and have been VERY disappointed. The headphone jack is very unreliable. The slightest movement and sound is lost. And now after a month, it won't sync with Windows Media player, so no more adding music. Got an error message saying to disconnect/reconnect the device, and if that didn't fix the problem, to replace the device. I will when I have the $ but with a different brand.

I brought it to use at work. I move around a lot and didn't want something that was heavy or cost a lot. I have an ipad. It's plug and play. I didn't use the RealPlayer software that came with it. I just transferred using the Windows Media Player. It also came in handy on our recent trip. The rental car didn't have a usb plug, it had an aux input. So we used this, instead of carrying all of our cd's. It had more than enough music for the 12 hour trip. I love it!

I bought this to replace my old Sansa Clip which, while still functional, had its battery life shortened after being drenched in a rainstorm. This new one added a large color screen for some reason, but nearly everything else is a step backward. It's slightly larger and less sleek in appearance, feels cheaper, and they moved the buttons to different locations for some reason. The USB cord is now a different type so I can't simply unplug the cable from one of my other devices to plug this one in. The most noticeable change is that it takes more than twice as long to start up as the old one did. Also the device did not seem to recognize the Windows Media Player playlist that I dropped in, as the old one did. The manual seemed to want me to download some Rhapsody program which I've decided not to do. The only other improvement is that the new one has a slot for a microSD card, though I haven't had a need for it yet.

This is the 4th MP3 player that I have owned and it's the best so far. I listen audiobooks all the time and this by far is the easiest player I've used. I love the fact that you can rewind as much as you need if you miss something, not a whole chapter like the other players (that were more expensive) This is an awesome buy! I was a little nervous because it wasn't expensive I thought I would lose out on quality, but in no way did that happen! Very pleased!!

I purchased this unit basically to use with audible reading. I was thrilled for a few weeks; then the ear phone kept losing sound if you happen to turn the wrong way. I contacted Best Buy and they said they could not replace it ( I had the purchased for three weeks) I contacted Sandisk, they said they would replace the unit, but I had to give them a credit card to hold two hundred plus dollars, they sent the new unit out and I had X amount of days to send back the one I purchased before, come to think of it, I have to check to see if they did credit my money back.. The one I have now works well. I download all the bedtime stories for my seven year old, so I do not have to read her to sleep anymore, she loves to listen to it, so I wait patiently until she falls to sleep and gently takes it out of her ear, and then it's "me time"

This Mp3 player works great. I've owned it for months with no problems. The 4GB storage quickly runs out when you have lots of music, but the player allows for extra storage via a micro sd card.

After many bad sansa players, I bought this one just because of lack of choice for too many mp3 players in this monopolistic market dominated by expensive apple products. So far happy but never know when it would go bad. But I bought geek squad protection so I am not worried. looks cheap but works well for now.
