Bought to replace Walkman that was stolen. I liked the size and the fact it'll take a micro SD. After a few months, started having trouble with the computer recognizing it. After trying different computers and cords, it's now not recognized by the computer at all. Contacted customer service, which is a laughable joke. Will stick with Sandisk micro sds, seems to be the only thing the company does well. My last Walkman lasted me over 6 years. I only used this player at home and it only lasted 10 months. Will be replacing it with a Sony, should of bought it in first place. What a disappointment. Save your money, buy something else. If you buy this and have to replace it in 8-10 months, it'll be cheaper to just buy something better.

This is a very nice player. Inexpensive and has a lot of features. The add on ability with the memory card is a great feature. The only real problem is the battery indicator is a light green color so it is not so easy to tell when I am low a battery power. I have already lost power due to this issue. Otherwise, this product is more than capable of delivering a pleasant music listening experience.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She uses it all day at work, no issues with battery life or anything like that. It is very small, but the screen is still decent. For what I paid, I can't say anything bad about it.

The main thing i dont like about this player is that it plays songs in an album in alphabetical order, instead of in track order. Its just a little nit picky thing that bugs me.

This is my 2nd SanDisk. Loved my first one. Great sound, easy to use, lasted a couple of years until it got left out in the rain. Can't really blame the player for not surviving the downpour. Replaced it and have been VERY disappointed. The headphone jack is very unreliable. The slightest movement and sound is lost. And now after a month, it won't sync with Windows Media player, so no more adding music. Got an error message saying to disconnect/reconnect the device, and if that didn't fix the problem, to replace the device. I will when I have the $ but with a different brand.

I brought it to use at work. I move around a lot and didn't want something that was heavy or cost a lot. I have an ipad. It's plug and play. I didn't use the RealPlayer software that came with it. I just transferred using the Windows Media Player. It also came in handy on our recent trip. The rental car didn't have a usb plug, it had an aux input. So we used this, instead of carrying all of our cd's. It had more than enough music for the 12 hour trip. I love it!

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves music. We already had a lot of the kidz bop CD's and I downloaded all of them on it for her. It is so easy to use and she never has any problems with it! I am about to buy one for my son!

I bought this to replace my old Sansa Clip which, while still functional, had its battery life shortened after being drenched in a rainstorm. This new one added a large color screen for some reason, but nearly everything else is a step backward. It's slightly larger and less sleek in appearance, feels cheaper, and they moved the buttons to different locations for some reason. The USB cord is now a different type so I can't simply unplug the cable from one of my other devices to plug this one in. The most noticeable change is that it takes more than twice as long to start up as the old one did. Also the device did not seem to recognize the Windows Media Player playlist that I dropped in, as the old one did. The manual seemed to want me to download some Rhapsody program which I've decided not to do. The only other improvement is that the new one has a slot for a microSD card, though I haven't had a need for it yet.

I purchased this unit basically to use with audible reading. I was thrilled for a few weeks; then the ear phone kept losing sound if you happen to turn the wrong way. I contacted Best Buy and they said they could not replace it ( I had the purchased for three weeks) I contacted Sandisk, they said they would replace the unit, but I had to give them a credit card to hold two hundred plus dollars, they sent the new unit out and I had X amount of days to send back the one I purchased before, come to think of it, I have to check to see if they did credit my money back.. The one I have now works well. I download all the bedtime stories for my seven year old, so I do not have to read her to sleep anymore, she loves to listen to it, so I wait patiently until she falls to sleep and gently takes it out of her ear, and then it's "me time"

This Mp3 player works great. I've owned it for months with no problems. The 4GB storage quickly runs out when you have lots of music, but the player allows for extra storage via a micro sd card.

I love this MP3 player it has so many features that it's just incredible. I love that I can listen to the radio, the music I downloaded onto my micro sd card, the books you can download also are helpful. It is such a great product for such a low price.

This product has a good battery life. However, it sometimes gets stuck and you're not able to turn off or the buttons become unresponsive. You have to reset it sometimes. Other than that, the product works great.

i love it its simple to use it clips everywhere and the chip goes right in the side so no trouble getting that tiny card in that tiny player. i needed something in place of my phone because the headphones jack was getting messed up from being in my pocket and this was a perfect solution. putting the music on it from my computer is a breeze. my only problem was i waited so long to get it!!!!

there are far fewer choices in the mp3 world than there used to be, thanks to smartphones with beats audio. This is the cheapest, most durable option with a clip for easy workouts with jams. I love apple but for almost half the price as the shuffle, this is a smarter choice IMHO.

if frozen press and hold the big center button for about 20 seconds. it will restart

Bought two of these for my niece and nephew for Xmas..(ages 8 and 10) Really liked the clip design, large capacity, and radio option. All for a rock bottom price. Thinking of getting aother one for the gym..for me! The clip design beats my ipod for workout convenience.

Bought this for my wife to use while she is working as a housekepper. It is really simple to use and does not require a lot of computer knowledge to load music into.

This is the third SanDisk Sansa product I have owned. I was looking for a music player that would be a good alternative for general use than my iPod Touch which I still have. I've had good luck with SanDisk MP3 players and I'd rather beat this up than my iPod, which I also bought at Best Buy. The only quibble I have with it is the supplied headphones. I had a pair like that before and I killed them. I swear by JVC Gumy headphones. Sound on my devices are better with the Gumys.

This MP3 player is NOT suitable for the gym or strenuous physical activity. It does not have a lock button, so my music goes from song to song if accidentally bumped. This device also 'freezes' / malfunctions if any sweat / moisture contacts certain spots of the device. For example, I sometimes have to clip the MP3 to my shirt (just under my chin area) and after I work up a sweat, the player freezes and stops working. It usually takes approximately whole day for the device to return to normal functioning. This device IS NOT for you if you plan to do lots of vigorous physical activity. I've had this device now for about 6 months and have put it through over 200 exercises sessions - I'm quite disappointed that it can't hold up to strenuous activity without malfunctioning. By the way the player is very small and is approximately the size of a dollar coin.
