    Before upgrading Windows 8 to 10, windows recommended making a system repair disk to reboot & restore from (just in case things went bad) and recommended a 16 Gig flash stick. This item worked perfectly for that. It came containing a program "SanDisk Secure Access Vault" for protecting files with a password, which works fine. I've never had any problems with Sandisk products.

    I bought this item as a back up storage, just in case.'' I bought this flash drive as a storage back up, I take lots of pictures. So, I needed assurance, in the event my computer crashed, I would have all my photo's saved. i do have I cloud, but for personal satisfaction felt this would give a hands on access to my personal photo's. Felt 16 gb would be plenty of storage .
