This flash drive was purchased at a special price, so I knew it would not excel at speed. However, the capacity was what I needed, and the price was right, so if you don't mind really slow writes, you should be ok.

I have many USB 2.0 flash drives and transfer files to it take forever. I have the same 32gb and 64gb drives and the 256gb is way slower with the same file sizes. If you put video file on it to stream or transfer to a player like Roku the quirky isn’t as good as 3.0. Spend the little bit extra and get a 3.0.

for 2.0 version speed acceptable. price/quality good

I gave this thumb drive to my sister to celebrate her buying a new Toyota Rav4, but her Rav4 couldn't read the drive formatted with Microsoft eformatt. She is going to use it on her media home computer, so it did work out. It surely a nice drive, size to price ratio.
