bought this on the BB site during Black Friday and got $105 off the regular cost so i scored a great deal and it's always nice to have a large flash drive around. i like to put movies on it when i travel to play on my laptop or via smart tv. you will have to format it on mac before you copy files to it or you will get the error 43.

I have purchased other USB drives that have failed. SanDisk is the only brand I buy now to use for anything that is long-term storage.

I purchased this large capacity usb thumb drive to back-up files on my desktop. I got a great sale price for a very large memory capacity. I plugged in the drive, and ran the back-up program overnight. It worked just fine. Now my files are backed up on a thumb drive that I can easily take on the road with me, or just save in my desk drawer in case of future need.

The size, price, and sandisk quality made this an easy choice. Its working well in my a/d video converter as a dvr. Over the air tv shows use 4 - 6 GB per show. So, the 256GB size allows for about a week of recording. Each week, I transfer the shows to a permanent storage, delete the files on the SanDisk, and reuse it the next week. Nice solution.

when you have old pc hardware ,, you need to copy to a drive and you know what is next ,,, nice size for moving a lot of stuff ..

IF you are in need of a highly portable USB flash drive that can hold a huge amount of data, this drive is a great alternative. It fits conveniently in a pocket or key chain and the slider works well to protect the USB port. Sandisk has a wonderful reputation and I have great success with their products. Highly recommended.

Purchased for my son's college work, video and word documents, as a backup. Easy to use and ample room. Great price for capacity.

I bought this product because it gave me more space for less money (it was the cheapest product), being nearly half the price for twice the space. These sticks used to be ... problematic; the built-in software was annoying. Now, it's still there, but it doesn't try to take over my computer when I insert the stick!

I have a few 1tb external hard drives but I wanted something portable with a good amount of storage space - my 32 and 64gb thumb drives just weren't cutting it. This one, at 256gb, a little more than 1/4 of a tb is great! Couldn't go wrong with the price either for the ease of portability. Love it!

The Sandisk Cruzer 256gb Usb 2.0 Flash Drive is a great product. High capacity for a low price. The only drawback is USB 2.0, but that's what the lower price point gets you. If you can wait to transfer 256gb of data, then this is the flashdrive to buy now.

I saw this and thought it was a typo. 256 GB in a normal sized flash drive is phenomenal. It is well-made, normal sized and functions just like a normal volume flash drive. My only complaint is it is so normal / ordinary looking it is readily confused with a normal volume flash drive.
