It's not as fast as USB 3.0 drives and is in fact slower then some older 2.0 drives but the price was right and believe it or not something of this tier also had a visible activity light.

Pays to Buy a Trusted Brand Like San Disk

They all go in the trash because that's what they use to manufacture these so they can give them away - trash. If your data is important to you, buy a trusted brand like San Disk and most importantly, buy them from a trusted seller like Best Buy. Don't buy the cheap ones online because chances are you are getting counterfeit. Yes, it costs more, but it's extremely cheap compared to the cost of losing my data.
