Decent quality flash drive for the price

Write speed was not a big factor but cost was. These flash drives are usb 2 so speed is limited to slightly south of 30 megs per second by the usb 2 interface. In most cases write speeds will be much lower than USB 2 can provide do to the low speed flash memory used on most if not all low cost drives. I did some testing using AS SSD and sequential read and write speeds are as follows. Read 21.42 MB/s write 3.39 MB/s. Not the best I have ever seen but not the worst either. If you need to write large data sets over and over again this is not the drive for you. A high end usb 3 drive would be a better fit as log as your PC supports usb 3. If you rarely change the data on the drive this is a great drive for the price.

Not A Sandisk Person
