When my laptop crashed I had to find a way to retrieve data. Now I just buy a few of these when they go on sale and keep them handy to back up my laptop.

You have to twist or spin the opening to get the USB port out. I have struggled with it and it always wants to retract.

Slow drive, but good if you get it on sale

If you just need a lot of storage for cheap, however, and aren't putting critical files on here, you should be fine. I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS WITH CRITICAL DOCUMENTS.
