Bought two of these today for $20 (one is originally $30)! So glad because now I have extra space on my Wii U and an extra usb flash drive for more space if needed. I am overall satisfied and you better act fast because these won't be on sale forever.

I just bought a 2012 Veloster and it has a USB/iPod music port. Initially I was using my SanDisk Cruiser 16GB drive, but then I read about some guy whose hand slipped off the shifter and hit his USB drive, snapping it off. So, I went to Best Buy to see if they had a smaller drive. This drive is GREAT for car stereos! It fits flush against the port and looks like an integrated part of your stereo versus awkwardly sticking out. I also like the orange LED light when it's in use, although it does not come on very often in my car. A lot of people seem to be complaining about this drive being too small, but I don't see that as a flaw at all- it's MEANT to be small, if it's easy to lose that is the fault of the owner, not the flash drive. I will say that the speed is slower than I had hoped. As a point of reference my music collection is about 7GB. To copy it to this drive took 25 minutes. To copy it to my Sony 16GB flash drive takes 18 minutes. To copy it to my SanDisk Cruiser 16GB drive takes 28 minutes, so this isn't the slowest drive out there but it's slow. I also didn't like the included software, it tried to install itself and force a reboot but I cancelled it and formatted it. I wish the software would ask if you want to use it before trying to install itself. Overall, great little drive, but be prepared for slow transfer times.

I bought this item expecting it to be horribly slow like most USB 2.0 drives but this one is half way decent. It can max out the USB 2.0 limit. Second plus was the physical size. I bought this specifically for the fact its tiny. I use it in my factory stereo and you dont even know its there. The one thing I wish was different is the activity LED. Its an orange. Orange doesn't go with anything. They should have made it red or white or blue. Either-way I am pretty happy when I got it on sale!

Love this little flash drive! Intend to get another. A lot of reviewers complain about not being able to put it on a keychain due to the small loop. This is easily remedied by attaching a fishing swivel to it.

Bought this specifically for MP3 music in the car. The USB port for the car is in the center console and as such things go in and come out of there all the time. A larger unit would inevitably get hit and possibly broken by such traffic. This small, low profile, unit ends up almost flush mount and therefore significantly reduces the chances of it getting smashed. The price point for the 16GB unit was also very good and at this capacity holds almost my entire CD collection. For those that need more storage, it is also available in 32GB in the same form factor.

I was looking for a mini flash drive for use with my laptop, that I wouldn't have to worry about accidentally bumping and breaking it off. I originally tried the Lexar Echo, but within 48 hours it crashed and it wasn't even readable. Because it was on sale, I exchanged it for a newer one and the same thing happened. After that I went with Sandisk as it has always been reliable for me in the past with standard flash drives. The Sandisk Fit has been perfect. Reliable, Readable, Decent Speed, and doesn't stick out from my laptop enough to break off. I love it.

Handy and seem less. It doesn't show as something sticking out. Storage is also good.

I have purchased several Scan Disk flash drives over the past 15 years. They are used to backup files. All are still working with use multiple times per year. This one was purchased to create a system backup for a new computer. It is easy to store compared to DVD disks and works just as well or better.

I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE 16GB CRUZER FITS ON SALE FOR 17.99 EACH. THE REGULAR PRICE OF 39.99 IS A BIT PRICEY IF YOU ASK ME AND I ONLY BOUGHT THEM BECAUSE OF THE SALE. I HAVE A 4GB XBOX SLIM AND I NEEDED SOME EXTRA MEMORY. I MUST SAY THESE WORK PERFECTLY WITH MY XBOX AND THEY ARE SO LOW PROFILE THAT THERE IS NO CHANCE OF THEM GETTING DAMAGED WHILE IN THE USB DRIVES. THEY ARE PERFECT FOR THIS APPLICATION AND I AM HAPPY WITH THEM OVERALL.

I needed a physically small USB stick for my car (2014 Maxda 3). It fits in the armrest between the seats and sits straight up so had to be tiny or otherwise the lid wouldn't close. This fit the bill perfectly. Now have tons of songs to listen to in the car.

I am using this thumb drive for easy access to my music in the car. I have had no issues with the drive itself. The stereo head unit takes a while to initially read the drive upon startup, but does a decent of cycling through all the albums/songs.

I bought this for USB music playback for my car and it works perfect. With such small size, it is almost invisible in the USB port. Sandisk makes the best Flash Drives. Go for it without second thoughts!

It works as expected from a USB 2.0 flash drive. The nicest part of this is that it is very small. I use it to put my mp3 music in it and stick it in my TV sound system to play music from it.

Small is a blessing and a curse. There is nothing to get in the way when it is plugged in. But the key chain loop is flimsy at best. I lost one when it broke. I bought a second and it broke as well, but I did not lose it. So it now stays put.

This one is a keeper. Very low profile enables me to leave one in my laptop at all times, and one in the USB drive of my vehicle to play thousands of songs.

I love that it's so small, but at the same time, the size can make it challenging to remove without it flying across the room. I wish it had come with a cord/strap or ring that could be attached to it. I bought it because of the size, so can't complain too much. Works great and the price per GB was nice.

First of all, if you are planning on buying this and then complaining about how small it is then don't buy it. I use it on a chromebook acer c720-2800 to double the storage from 16gb to 32gb.I bought the 16gb. I put music and movies on it to listen and watch and run Ubuntu.I care more about real life experiences then using a bench mark. I did some real life test and write speed is around 7-8 mbps on both smaller files like music and larger files like movies. It does seem to vary at times with smaller files. I wish it was USB 3 but it's not. Maybe the next time around. Anyway still plenty fast for most things. Read speed is where this really shines. I normally get speeds of between 20-25 mbps! That to me is really good for a usb 2. I do use it on a usb 3.0 port. I love the small profile and I never remove it even when putting my computer in a bag to carry! I can't speak for the long haul as I have only had it about a month. On a side note I got it for $10.99 because I went on amazon first and Best Buy price matched it! I was happy to have it right away rather than waiting for it to be shipped.

great for its small footprint and large capacity. Would be a bit better it had a zero-extend top, perhaps with a small lip to extract from USB slot. Tape it somewhere.. like inside an eyeglass case... so you don't lose it.

I love this SanDisk - Cruzer Fit 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive - Black, because it is compact and easy to store. The only reason I gave it a 4-star, instead of a 5-star is because it did not come with a leash to attach to it. It has a spot to attach one, but it did not come with one. Depending on what you plug it into, the SanDisk may be easy or hard to pull out without a leash.
