Good storage device

It's a great option when purchasing a mac with a smaller SSD, it basically doubles your SSD size. Wouldn't recommend it for multimedia users, it doesn't keep up that well.

Great for backup device or daily use

It's a USB 2.0, so it doesn't have the transfer speeds of a 3.0. For my purposes, that was not necessary. I haven't had any issues, and I can now rest at ease because of my backup device.
