Great Flash Drive for small files to carry

Reliable Name Brand in a unreliable market

Flash Drives, or thumb drives as they are sometimes call are excellent for temporary data transfer. The key word is TEMPORARY. Flash drives have a shelf life and are not a great media for permanent storage. This is magnified by the size of the drive especially in the 128gb to 256gb flash drives. San Disk is one of those brands I trust to transfer large amounts of data.

Sturdy USB drive

Good flash drive

It's much needed if you don't have a laptop to take to school, or if you want another place to store files as a backup in case other files are corrupted. Can't be too safe nowadays. Once in college make sure you got 2 places to save your files.

SanDisk 128GB Cruzer Glide USB 2.0 Flash Drive - S

Only issue I had was I did not know this was formatted in X-FAT32. I bought this thumb drive to put the movies I have on my PC on it so that I could watch them in my living room on my smart tv... after spending a couple hours transferring files to the drive, I plug it into my smart tv and get an error telling me that the drive was not supported. I tried it on my Sony Blu-ray that has a usb slot for external media and it doesn’t recognize the drive either. I tell my husband about it and he says I need to format the thumb drive with a regular FAT32 file system. Well, I did as I was instructed, reloaded the movies after formatting with FAT32 and bingo! Both my smart tv and my Blu-ray can now read the files on the drive! So, if anyone has problems with your devices reading or even recognizing the drive after loading files in the X-FAT32 format, reformat the drive with FAT32 and then reload your files. You should be good to go! SANDISK, YOU REALLY SHOULD LABLE THE PACKAGING WITH THE TYPE OF FORMATING ON THE DRIVE! That would save people a lot of wasted time knowing this in advance

Great space at a great price

I use flash drives to collect log information for work, move large media files and as a temp backup for pc maintenance. Space is always at a premium.

A Lot of Storage at a Low PRICE!

When you consider that some laptops are still being used with a total of 128 gig of storage, it's incredible that this stick holds that much data!
