Expandable SSD storage a must?

I have used this to expand the memory of my PS4 Pro and the loading times off this are as good as the internal SSD I also upgraded my system with. I get about 50% better loading times with SSD over a standard "spinning" drive externally. Much recommended if you can afford the price.

Portable sad usb c drive

I liked it so much I bought another

The form factor is attractive and handy to carry. It comes with everything you need. The USB cable is short, so mine kind of hang in mid air from my USB hub, but since they are light, that works fine.

Great Alternative

After looking at different options, have Apple replace it was going to cost over $1,000. If I replaced it myself would cost about $200 but would require opening the iMac (not an easy task and could break screen). I plugged this one in and easily set it up to take the place of my HHD portion of the Fusion drive. Once done iMac was back to normal and running slightly faster than before. Best thing is when I retire the iMac, I can keep the drive. Price a little high so I took off one star.

Does not seem to work with Tablets

I've formatted the ScanDisk and it works with my Samsung Note 10 plus, but really needed to work with my tablet as its full and want to make more room for my vacation pictures as I travel. I have reached out to ScanDisk customer help line. Sent email about my situation and have not heard back from them in over a week. So far I've been disappointed that it hasn't performed as i hope for

Great small size to 2TB storage

Just wish it was a Thunderbolt 3 SSD versus a USB Type-C (just learned those are NOT the same thing even though the ports look the same).
