I purchased this today because the PNY class 10 (20mb/s) card just quit working on me yesterday after about a month of use. I have a Canon t3i that I use for a good mixture of still shots and video so I need something that can handle both. After putting this card though a rigorous test of both today, I was not only pleased with how it handled everything but how quickly the camera performed between buffering. No issues with video buffering either. After trying out the 20mb/s card, and this at 30mb/s, its a no brainer. Put down some more money and get this card. I will update this review if I have any issues at all.

I recently bought a new Canon SX170 IS and I decided to use my older 8GB SDHC card with it; however, I noticed that the write speed was slow and there was a noticeable lag when reviewing pictures. I decided to buy this card in order to get more storage and more speed. With this card I can now take over 2,200 pictures at full resolution. What's more, the lag time has all but disappeared! Shot-to-shot time is markedly improved, and playback has almost no lag time. Sale price of $24.99 is a good price for this level of performance. Highly satisfied!

Once I made the switch to the Scan Disk Extreme I will never go with anything else. The speed of shooting in frames per second is the best I can get for my camera. I was informed by the camera sales employee that if I wanted to gain the maximum frames per second with the camera I bought(Canon 60D) that I should use an extreme SD card. Glad I listened. It is obviously more expensive than regular cards, but well worth it. He also informed me that when I transfer pictures to my Macbook Pro it will be much faster, and he was right. Comparing the time it took to transfer with my old camera and SD card set up and my new setup it is fractions of seconds. I can literally transfer 200 shots in under 5 sec. Now for high resolution shooting, my wife does a lot of commercial shoots with the camera for her company. She is very happy with the quality she can get when utilizing the card at its highest resolution. She has processed photos into 20x30 posters with excellent clarity. No grainy resolution at that large an image. Overall, after shooting with this SD card I will never change. I would recommend buying these cards whenever you find them on sale at Best Buy. This last Black Friday Best Buy had them on sale for over half off. That was awesome, so I bought two for the price of one.

I just picked one of these up for use on my GroPro Hero2. I use my GoPro mostly for video taping fishing trips on my kayak but have recently used it to take photos with my GroPro. The GoPro can take pictures at a speed of 10FPS, the card has no issue maintaining the speed required for this. It was simple plug and play, no software, no error messages, just popped it in and off I went. The video quality is also second to none. The card can hold more fotage than I need, great playback and again, no issues.

As an amateur photography enthusiast this card allows you to go most or even a few days on a trip without having to dump onto a larger storage device. Never hurts to pack a few cards, though!

I use this with a JVC HD camcroder, this card is very good for HD Vid, its was works great with the Canon Ti2. But you have to format it to the device you are useing. It is not recmd to keep format it over and over for a deff device. Keep it the same, Me I just buy a new one each time it full. and put it up in a safe place...It a very good back up for your pics

This card is a fantastic balance between storage and value. Hard to beat the performance too. Haven't noticed any lag in most applications. Even though it'd be nice to have the 32GB card. Two of the 16GB are currently a better deal.

I purchased this to add memory to my Nintendo 3DS XL after a Best Buy employee's recommendation. The speed is high enough to run everything with no hiccups and the capacity is well beyond what I needed for a few downloads and many save files.

Nothing irritates me more than taking pictures and getting the busy signal on my DSLR. This card eliminated that instantly. A bit expensive but they will come down in price eventually. Worth the money for me as I take lots of pictures of my children, vacations, and sporting events.

I found these on sale at half-price and bought three of them. 16 GB is a good size for average projects (I get about 500 photos per card with the camera set to record maximum quality jpg AND raw images). As always, Sandisk cards are reliable.

Very good choice for GoPro Camera

I bought this card on Black Friday for use in my GoPro camera for the Class 10 read/write speed. It works great for 120FPS footage that you need to slow down during editing. I was using a Class 6 card and the video would get extremely choppy if you were recording anything fast paced. I expect that this card would work very well in any DSLR camera especially in burst mode (10 shot burst mode shots come out great) or in a camcorder recording 1080p or sports. Would recommend, try to pick it up on sale.

When you record video with your camera, it's best to switch to a seperate large capacity memory card. I don't mix picture and video files. This 16 GB memory card is just about right for short videos and is fast enough to write to the card without hanging up in the buffer. In some cases a 32GB memory card would be a good idea.

I purchased this additional memory card for my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera. The D7000 Best Buy bundle came with an 8GB card which was not enough memory for shooting large format photos, so I purchased this 16GB card. (The D7000 has dual memory slots, so I now use the 8GB card as an overflow memory card.) The card has worked great so far--but, as I intend to start using the HD video feature on my camera more often, I'll probably want even more storage space. So, next on my wish list is the 32GB card. But, all in all, I'm very satisfied with this card's performance.
