I purchase this after already buying the PRO version and not getting 2000 MB/s. I kept both but this is more affordable and they both have the same speed on a 14" MacBook Pro. Im getting about 1000MB/s max.

Working great, very ease to set up transfer of information from old external drive was smooth

small, sturdy, occasionally on sale. I only buy solid state anymore. learn the differences in USB 3.0 Gen 1 Gen 1.1 Gen 1.2 Gen 2.0 Gen 2.1 ng Gen 2.2, and NVMe encoding. You may have guessed that Gen 2.2 is fastest. it is also the most expensive. In fact the top of the line is probably faster than anything you will connect to it. So if you don't need it save $50 per TB and get the slower one. But I am a speed snob so I get a few of the fastest and they are my working drives. the medium and slow ones are foe cold storage. I have some of the fisrt SSD and they still work well. Also I learned one thing recently. Don't constantly defrag SSD. It uses up some of its life and it isn't that necessary.

Extremly portable , light weight, and faster data transfer, Ideal to carry for frequent traveller. Will buy another one waiting for the price to get lower.

Nice size, or small footprint. Allows me full control of my huge music data files and system backup files without trusting my data out in the cloud. Fast data transfers and plenty of storeage space.

Super fast and very durable. Nice being able to handle a hard drive without care. Some care obviously. Definitely get if you’re considering. I haven’t found any negatives yet.
