Crazy fast drive. Using this off a USB - C port on a laptop This drive has a m.2 WD Blue inside. It looks like the cap speed is about 615MB/S. It will slow down some when copying tons of small files. I do play games off this drive. Tom Clancy's Breakpoint, Black Desert Online, World of Tanks - I see no performance diff from the SATA ssd I was using before.

Had the device for 3-4 weeks now and I have had no issue with it. The read and write speeds are fast, I like the fact that the ssd is designed to be rugged so I don’t have to worry if my drive takes a fall or if some liquid spills on it.

The Geek Squad tech told me to buy this for the new Apple - MacBook Air 15-inch Apple M4 chip Built for Apple Intelligence - 16GB Memory - 256GB SSD - I bought. He was then able to use it to set up my computer properly. He told me it was the best. And it is FAST!

The drive is very fast if you have a USB type C port that is capable of reaching the required speeds. The included cable is a double sided USB type C so it can easily be replaced. The included cable is very short, but that's exactly what I needed. Feels well built and I think it will last a long time.

This external ssd is durable and compact. It formats easily, and has a great amount of storage for a good price. The cable it comes with includes a type c adapter as well as the usb plug in.

The ScanDisk Is exactly what I needed and a great price. I recommend it. I bought it to save and transfer all my files from my old computer to my new computer.

Notice - if you have a MacBook, this drive may stop mounting, or never mount at all. This is a known issue with macbook compatibility. You can run a terminal command and it will mount. I thought that it stopped working all together until I plugged it into a pc and it read fine. Outside of that - if you own a pc this will be great I expect. Read/write speeds are great. It’s very compact and very portable with a solid build and built in carabiner clip.
