An IP55 rating to show dust and water resistance is a nice benefit. The device is very portable—about the size of a pack of gum. - This drive is FAST. Both read and write speeds are very quick. I was able to transfer a feature length movie in seconds when using a USB C port on each side. - This drive was very easy to set up. All I had to do was plug it into my computer and it worked. Cons: - This drive did not work with my phone. According to my research it has to do with how much power the drive is able to pull from the USB port. So if you were looking to expand your phone storage, this is not the drive for you. - The cord included with the drive is really short, which I’ve found to be inconvenient.

For a speed test I ran a copy from an internal SSD to a USB spinny disk and the SanDisk Extreme. I transferred approximately 750GB (~10k files) to each drive using the same port on my computer. The spinny drive took 2:23:14 and the SanDisk Extreme took only 0:57:34. That's 60% faster!
