For a speed test I ran a copy from an internal SSD to a USB spinny disk and the SanDisk Extreme. I transferred approximately 750GB (~10k files) to each drive using the same port on my computer. The spinny drive took 2:23:14 and the SanDisk Extreme took only 0:57:34. That's 60% faster!

Decent read \write speeds and the case feels sturdy like it can take some bumps and bruises! The eye hole for a clip is also a nice feature to have.

USB-C cable that comes with it is very short: about 6 inches. I would prefer a longer one, but this one plugs into a port on the front of my Mac Studio, so is OK

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have one of these for pictures and media (works awesome) and i have one for just music (1gig) the music one works 30% of the time, my computer just wont see it as a external drive most of the time. So when i need to get to my stuff it sometimes works. Very frustrating! I feel there are better choces for SSD drives out now and soon will get a more reliable drive. I inly give it 3 star because one of them works good and other dont. Also nothing online to help this delema or through the company. At a loss
