I picked up two of these. One for the PS5, using the USB-C port, and the other for a PS4 Pro. This is a fast drive. It's about 6 times faster than the internal drive on the PS4 Pro. On the PS5, I have all my PS4 games stored on this. They load so much faster than when I played the same games on the PS4. This is twice as fast than most standard SSDs. There are some faster models too, but I figured that I didn't need to spend the extra for just PS4 games. I did get it during a Black Friday sale, so it was about $100 off at the time.

Works great! Used as a Time Machine external backup drive with a new Apple MacBook Air M2. Have used SanDIsk Extreme for my other MacBooks too.

I liked the hard drive but, it didn't work for what I needed it for I tried to use it with my Xbox series s. Was compatible, but couldn't play the games from the system saved on the hard drive. Over all though a very impressive little hard drive and extremely fast load and down loading speeds.

As a photographer I needed a hard drive that i could trust to back up all my clients photos. I've used others on the market & always had issues from speed or reliability but with this little guy its been smooth sailing & i fully trust them after 4 years!

I have had this ssd for a while now and I love it highly recommend no issues what’s so ever!

We bought this for our son who loves gaming. Best solution for more memory. He can take this to his big bother’s house and play his games there too. It’s an affordable option for a kid that wants more memory for gaming. It’s very practical and easy to carry.

It's my third drive of this type - so far, so good.

Wow these are good have plugged into Mac air (which has low memory) and am able to run games good of this

Great for storing files. Quick file transfers. Compared to LaCie, and the old Samsung external ssd, this one is compact and easy to use. Downloading the Sandisk software when you first insert it into your computer gives your external SSD an added sense of security as to who will be able to see your files, as they will need to figure out the password that can be set with the Sandisk program. Great buy, great quality, spectacular performance for the price

I bought this product as a storage backup for my ever growing PC games collection. I was elated to experience that it can directly play my stored games without having to transfer the files to the main PC HD/SSD. The read and write speeds are beyond adequate. It has a quiet hum while it works and doesn't intensely heat up. I got it as a Totaltech Member so I got a fairly good deal price-wise. It was plug & play ready.

When I first connected the portable USB to my laptop, it was not recognized. When I did some reading I discovered that I probably needed an update to my laptop, or at least a driver. Once that was completed the USB was detected right away. Upon testing transfer of data, it was fast and I had no problems whatsoever.

This SSD is really fast not the fastest one but it certainly gets the job done not everything needs to be super fast……..couple seconds for a 32gig file haven’t really tested the speed for anything bigger. This is super portable as well not too small not too big it’s literally the perfect size.

THIS IS GREAT. It's small, fast and reliable. No issues whatsoever. I've been using it for a year now as my MacBook backup. It's used every day. I have a lot of SSD's and Hard drives. This is actually my favorite. I have some that I think are supposed to be faster like my Samsung portable X5 But the SanDisk actually seems faster to me. That's just the feeling I get and not the result of a scientific head to head test.

I was so surprise when I received this SSD. It’s super small and compact smaller than the size of a baseball card. It comes with a lightning to USB adapter if your device doesn’t have a lighting port. Speeds are pretty good for the value up to 1050 mb/s. I used my ssd to upload my video clips and pics which took less than 5 mins to upload them all. I think this ssd is really great for the value and brand especially from SanDisk.

The San Disc has been fast with my Surface Pro 4 but the short connection wire was too short. I made sure a I got a longer fast cable and I'm good to go. I put together a lot of family videos and jpegs. The transfer speeds for the video has been so much better than the external hhd I use to use. I set it up to transfer and it seems to think for a few seconds then the video transfers in seconds. Jpegs go so fast I have to double check that it worked. Was easy to find a a good price too.

This is an amqsing compact ssd! I was using this primarily as a portable gaming drive (which works perfectly for) but recently got another so I can repurpose this back to general work and travel use. This thing hardly takes up any space in your briefcase or backpack, but please be aware that this does run hot (which is normal) so make sure it's in open air when it's being used.
