I would recommend. Very FAST and it works seamless with the new M1 Mac mini. I bought it to be used for Time Machine and a Backup drive partitioned in XFAT, 50/50 split. At the 1050 Mb/s, you don't even realize there is a backup going on. I transferred a bunch of pics/video from my old computer to this SSD and it is all so fast, no more waiting and waiting to complete the file transfers.

Small in size, build quality feels solid, and while I don't have any speed test apps ( plenty of those out there and all are quick) it transfers files CONSIDERABLY FASTER than a traditional HDD. I did not use any of the included software asI formatted it to be a Time Machine BackUp for my Mac. On on sale for $100. Money well spent, happy customer.

I used this drive for backing up as well as transferring my desktop files and runs through 500GB much quicker than I've ever seen a backup drive do so, and with no errors. What would've taken overnight in transfer time with a traditional drive took a matter of a couple of hours on this one.

This has been my go-to SSD for all photo and video back ups and editing. Lightning fast and I haven't had any of the 5-7 I've bought break or lose data.

Had the device for 3-4 weeks now and I have had no issue with it. The read and write speeds are fast, I like the fact that the ssd is designed to be rugged so I don’t have to worry if my drive takes a fall or if some liquid spills on it.

Very large storage & super easy to use. Just be sure to eject before pulling from your computer or else it may fry and you’ll ruin it.

After having multiple external hard drives crash, asked to Best Buy employee what would be a better brand of an external drive. They said to get this instead because it’s faster. Haven’t had any issues or errors with it so far

This external ssd is durable and compact. It formats easily, and has a great amount of storage for a good price. The cable it comes with includes a type c adapter as well as the usb plug in.

This portable external drive if very small. But do no get fooled by its size. It's has bigger storage capacity and ease to use. i highly recommend it to anyboby.

Can’t believe how fast this solid state drive is I have 2 Hard drives but they can’t compare to the speed of this drive. It’s so fast you wonder if it copied. I have to look in the files to see if it was copied just unbelievable speed

Works as expected- very fast, small, light weight, easy to use. My only concern is it gets very warm. Apparently this is a common issue with portable ssd’s. Overall, im very happy and impressed with how fast it moves files. Wish I would’ve bought this years ago.

Crazy fast drive. Using this off a USB - C port on a laptop This drive has a m.2 WD Blue inside. It looks like the cap speed is about 615MB/S. It will slow down some when copying tons of small files. I do play games off this drive. Tom Clancy's Breakpoint, Black Desert Online, World of Tanks - I see no performance diff from the SATA ssd I was using before.

This SSD is not only fas but comes with security features like putting a password to lock the device to keep important information safe!

Small, rugged, handy USB-C portable drive with 1TB storage. It's been mailed across country a couple of times and always arrived intact and working as expected. Padded envelope, btw.
