Lightweight, small in physical size and easy to carry. Very fast speed when transferring data especially larger files such as photos. A fraction of the size of traditional hard drives plus solid state technology. I now only buy SSD devices.

SanDisk 2GB Extreme PortABLE USB-C NvMe SSD DRIVE is a good portable high density choice with rugged enclosure and convenient size for portability to take with you all the time. These SSD's are great backup and computer to computer transfer devices that are a main tool for regular computer users. The price under $200 is great for this size and performance. The only downside is the use of NVMe chips inside instead of conventional solid state memory chips. The NVMe offer high speed since they are designed to be used inside computers for hard drives; however, they are themselfs sensitive to temperature and physical handling so these drives need to be kept in protective cases when not in use. Also, when using do not keep it in a case or location that will not provide cooling as they may overheat damaging the drive. I invested in a hardshell very small zip case designed for these SSD devices and keep it in my briefcase to go everywhere I go. I recommend this as a top quality brand using these NVMe chips as portable drives. I have purchased aftermarket NVMe chip enclosures to make my own portable drive but decided to keep these at home knowing that these may die in portable use.

2 tb ssd was huge capacity drive as compared to what i have in my laptop. It so compact in size . I bought a small carry bag for it . I like the capcity it holds and easy transfer, it was pretty quick.

Great size, Portability, Ease of use with great performance for a USB-C NVMe SSD. This is the second one I have for recording video from a Blackmagic Extreme ISO (Qty 9 - 1080P Video streams at the same time)

Impressive speeds and an incredible amount of data it can store. I scrubbed through some lengthy videos after transferring them to the device, and there was no delay in the audio or video. Very impressive!

Picked this up because of its size and speed. Small enough to tuck it just about anywhere and its speed is great. I’m using thunderbolt 4 cable on a MacBook Pro with this and it’s impressive transferring videos and pictures.

Used these little dudes before and they're great! Drop proof, waterproof, fast, and reliable! Never had problems. If you edit videos or photos, start using these and stop using LaCiE drives!!

I use this for storing video and photo projects. Its durable and small and fast enough to edit straight on the drive from my 2016 MPB. I will be getting more of these.
