Not reliable for MacOS use

Tried to use disk as backup disk and only connect manually, but got unmounted mid-backup. I have a very light paperweight on my desk now.

Stay Away Faulty

Windows will repair the drive and then the i/o errors will return. Only a matter of time before it fails for good. Havent even had the drive for a full year.

Looks good ... doesn't work

Then randomly dropped connection from my laptop, although all cables etc were still properly connected This kept happening randomly. Google search showed this is a recurring problem with this particular product. I returned it to Best Buy and bought a similar Samsung product instead

Overpriced garbage

But, unfortunately, My Linux Ubuntu would not recognize the SanDisk. Had to return the SanDisk.

Durable, But Needs More Storage for the Price

Can do backups or partition for time capsules then have for storage. I like that it's smaller than a credit card and uses type c. Consider the bigger capacity bc it's also built well and pretty fast!
