It works well, but with some caveats: (1) It falls asleep after about 15 seconds if not being actively used; when accessed after falling asleep, it takes 10-15 seconds to wake up, (2) Because of the preceding point, it's not a good device to leave connected to the computer continuously, (3) I have NEVER gotten even close to the transfer speeds mentioned, even on high-end late-model USB 3.x Windows machines, and (4) The device stalled randomly on my Windows 10 machines until I turned off indexing on it and instructed the Recycle Bin to delete files from this device immediately upon deletion (instead of allowing deleted files to accumulate in an on-device Recycle Bin).

I like the form factor as they're not tiny and as likely to be misplaced. USB-C is blazing fast with my Macbook Pro M1.
