    The reason these are so cheap is because there is a firmware issue that deletes files. Google Sandisk 2TB SSD Issues for a multitude of reported issues.

    kernel panic beware

    this drive cause kernel panic on mac mini m1 if it is left plugged during boot. it seems the 1TB does not cause this issue, only 2TB from my own testing.

    They are literally being sued currently for these drives wiping data. It’s a shame these are even still on sale. STAY AWAY
